That was the before mulch we re-mulched with natural shredded pine bark. No dyes.

I saw that Asheville got hit really hard. I grew up in Bessmer city North Carolina, so I know how hard the hurricanes can be I was living down City when hurricane Hugo hit, which was not fun. I am hoping to move back down there soon right now I’m living in New Hampshire which if you know anything about the north, it is 40° and raining today I could go for some Sundrop

Google showed that ho.e have a back yard and a small stream behind it. Its a good 24 ft past the tree to the boat launch. Welp guess you no longer have a back yard. That water is not going down.
