Going to the grocery for food, seeing a plant and completely forgetting groceries, just to run to the check out as if someone is going to mug me for my plant is such a shared experience 😂 you just can't risk it... Haha

I’m a beginner Bromeliad enthusiast, and LOVED your video. I’m going to look and see if you have a video on how to save stressed bromeliads. I’m not sure if it was the hurricane or extreme heat of this summer, but when I got back to FL this month, my bromeliads look like they are dying. Maybe they are just overgrown in the pots they are in.
@Sami-tk4dd2 ай бұрын
The variegation is actually heat dependent. If it's in warmer conditions you get more variegation 🤍

Hello.

At my lowest the indoor plant section also has clearance and they either under water or overwater so lots of plants end up there, I still find some good ones I manage to save though 😊

I have a self watering plastic pot (not the top heavy one thankfully) and it's kinda weird just because it doesn't match my other pots
@PeggysPlants2 ай бұрын
I get it. I've started using other pots now, also. All of my pots no longer matching, but I'm getting use to it. Thanks for watching and for sharing your thoughts!

WARNING ⚠️ First of all you almost broke my machine with this video. You have to completely fill up the tank and stir the powder very well before putting it in the machine. Maybe before making videos you could inform yourself on how to do things properly! 🙄

Or you could read the directions for yourself and not take someone’s word for it.

Every 2-3 months or 300 gallons of water. They last quite a while.

The pots are nice, although I have to drill drainage holes in them. But, my concern is that they are going to raise prices because of the pots, on already expensive enough plants. Hey, give me $5 off and I'll leave the pot and put the plant in a shopping bag. LOL
@PeggysPlants2 ай бұрын
I'm sure you're not alone in your thinking. I believe I have all of the pots I need and would go for a nursery pot or shopping bag too. 😊 Thanks for watching!

Costa Farms is the worst! Don't buy any plant sold with a decorative container that does not have holes for drainage in the pots. The big box employees over water the plants, and the poor plants are suffering from root rot because they are sitting in water for long periods of time in the store. The Wick and Gro plants are just as bad. NO NO NO to Costa Farms
@angiem84343 ай бұрын
The problem with the pots is that most of the time I was repotting the plants into smaller pots..I wish instead of having larger pots that are too big for the plants which will hurt the plant in the long run..they use smaller pots..I threw out so many ceramic pots
@PeggysPlants2 ай бұрын
Oh noooo! LOL I'm so stingy with my ceramic pots. Even when I repot, I save my ceramic pots. With them, I found that I was buying a lot fewer pots. Sorry they didn't work out well for you. Thanks for watching and happy growing!
@kyrad65433 ай бұрын
For a while, they also made composite pots that looke IDENTICAL to the ceramic ones. In fact, I couldn't tell them apart at all until I removed the inner pot and sort of tapped on the decorative pot. I also have found they sell other plants in really different ceramic pots. I found one that was green that I loved. But I didn't like the plant in it, so I passed. I still regret!
@PeggysPlants2 ай бұрын
I've heard about the composite pots that look like the ceramic ones. I don't think I've come across any of them yet, but I wouldn't swear on it. I've seen some of the other nice ceramic and clay pots too. Anything except the new self watering ones work for me! Thanks for watching.
@sannaericditsler40343 ай бұрын
Thanks for the video. I will have to see what is available in my area. I also don't like the plastic pots.
