Great video. Could you tell me, how is the dog pee issue resolved?
@SmartTravelFamily12 күн бұрын
Hi! Dogs just pee in the dog walking area and it's washed down a few times per day by the crew. Poop is supposed to be picked up by dog owners.

Hi Thank you for your great videos. We decided to do the TF-10 , but I’d like to ask you- if we go by car to the start point Cruz del Carmen and leave the car there, can we then go back to Cruz del Carmen from Punta del Hidalgo by bus ?
@SmartTravelFamily2 ай бұрын
Hi! Yes, it's possible to pick up the car from Cruz del Carmen. However, you'd have to take two busses from Punta del Hidalgo to reach it. Busses from Punta del Hidalgo go every 20 minutes, however, busses up to Cruz del Carmen often are just once every hour. If you are not doing any of the circular routes (TF-8, TF-6, TF-3), I'd strongly advise just to go to Cruz del Carmen by bus and return from the end-point by bus. This is definitely much more time-efficient than trying to get to your car after a hike. The best point to leave your car is either the bus station (intercambiador) in La Laguna, or in the Super Dino in Las Canteras outside La Laguna (maps.app.goo.gl/bnfJyhAy9PfJLQcQ9) where the Cruz del Carmen and La Laguna busses almost intersect. Use Google maps public transport search, and you'll understand the suggestion better.

Btw, we personally found the TF-11 more impressive than TF-10. Both start at Cruz del Carmen. And both end roughly 1-2 km apart.

@@SmartTravelFamily yes, we’ve not decided yet which one ( either TF-11 or 10 plus we’re going to do one loop ( probably TF-8) 🙂
@SmartTravelFamily2 ай бұрын
@@eliza7697 TF-8 is a great choice. I think you'll like it more than TF-6. A great cross-section of most that Anaga has to offer. I'd suggest to start at Afur village (instead of Taganana) and first go towards Casa Forestal up the mountain. This way you'll have the very scenic stretch from Playa del Tamadite to Afur for dessert. This also allows you to stop in Taganana for lunch around the mid-way point. We're not big fans of interrupting hikes with long lunches, but if you decide to, the best place in Taganana is the guachinche Bibi y Mana, maps.app.goo.gl/RQEbT2g3r8tPgJ5EA

Cientos de videos como este son los que producen el efecto "llamada" y de esta forma una saturación de la isla que no loa va a poder soportar.

Hi! We really sympathize with the situation the Tenerife's locals find themselves in, particularly, when it comes to affordable housing. The salaries levels on the island are also suprisingly low for most permanent residents. However, we highly doubt that limiting the number of videos about the island's stunning nature will contribute even a little to a solution. I think that the solution is limiting the number of tourists by higher tourism-related taxes, limiting flights to the island, attracting tourists that are ready to spend more, inreasing taxes for services that are mostly used by tourists, etc. This is a responsibility of the regional and Spain's national government, in our humble opinion.

If you can/want to afford a cabin, that of course guarantees the best sleep. I think it is really horrible to sleep in the cheapest chairs - it is noisy, with bright lights there. The Pullman seats area was much better - quiet, dark during the night, but the seats anyway don't recline sufficiently to sleep well. I personally actually slept on deck 9 above the pool area.
@user-dobry Жыл бұрын
@@SmartTravelFamily thx! Is it allowed to sleep there? What would I need? As you said blanket or a sleeping bag?
@SmartTravelFamily Жыл бұрын
@@user-dobry sleeping bag would be best, as it's warm most of the year, but can be windy. People also slept on floors in the dining/lounge areas. I'd do that if it's too cold on the outside deck (and I wouldn't have a dog with me). Security/other staff did not object.

I would recommend to visit the museum the other, suggested way around (see arrows on floor) as this follows the idea of the architect as to descend in the tank's tomb. While this tank shows many scars of battle, much of the damage is due to the tank having been burried until 1999. The bent horns at the back and much of the other damages are due to the tank being pulled and falling rather roughly in the hole they dug for it

"one of the best coast roads in the world". The best time to visit Hai Van Pass, is during the hot, dry season from around April to October. You'll enjoy the breathtaking view. November to March is cold and wet, and the weather around these mountains can be downright miserable and conditions riskier.
@SmartTravelFamily6 жыл бұрын
I guess we got lucky in December, but I'd agree that March November might be better. For us the weather was excellent on Danang's side, but pretty poor once over the mountain.
