I need to correct you on the description. A few months ago, I spoke to Rex Goh and he explained the circumstances behind US/Canada tour from 1977. Howard Tsukamoto and Joey Carbone were two American musicians who played keys and bass. Rex doesn't remember the why Jeremy Paul left (one day he was just no longer in the band as he states it), but he left before the US tour had even started and never came back. The band along with the two American musicians rehearsed for about 2 weeks in the US before the tour started. Following the US tour, Rex would leave the band as well. He'd only return again by late 1980 and then leave again in 1983, and then briefly joined the band again in 1997.

The variation you hear in the middle of this recording is just the way the song was previously recorded for US and Australian music market back in 1980. The short version was released in other countries.

Just had to say thank you for this upload both to Tony and the person who shared it. In 1984, Air Supply had planned to come to Orlando, FL that summer. I was kid who was mesmerized by their 1983 performance a year earlier at the same venue, Orange County Convention Center. However, the show was cancelled. I was absolutely devastated, crushed. So wonderful to hear that show now 40 years later what I missed. (And I had been armed with an audio recorder to preserve it). I think this is their best concert year. Back when they had so much new material. I'll always love Air Suppy but I am such a die hard that new tracks were more interesting to me than the hits I'd heard before. This year was a peak for them in creativily.

Don Arden was a genius. He got Greatest Hits out exactly at the right time. I just wish he had pushed a released in 1984. They had solid tracks. I know Clive Davis wasn't thrilled with the tracks they had but there was some excellent new material shared on the '84 tour.

Love Wally Stocker's guitar embellishments in 'The Way It's Meant to Be".. I wish they would have recorded this onto an album. Harmonies outstanding on that track as well.

@@henshantam1797 AS use to share lots of their new songs by performing live during their shows some time before the tracks being chosen for a new studio album. They do that to have a real feedback from their fans. If it is positive, eventually the songs will have a studio recording and be released officially. However, it also may take some years to happen. "Stronger than the night" is a good example. Unfortunately, they also end up leaving lots of great songs (fans' opinion) out of their albums.

My mom was 73 and never been to a concert in her life. It was 2008 Airsupply came to an out door show on a golf course in July and me my wife and 2 sons took her to see them and Russel actually came out into the audience and my mom and all.of us were lucky enough to meet him. The next concert we went to was Cheap Trick those were the only concerts my mom ever attended and i miss her very much. I love you mom, You're the biggest star I ever knew. See you again someday ❤

I watched this Video over and over cause I love Air Supply I finally able to attend one of their concert in Casino Rama , Ontario, Canada and that was September 2023. What a great Show .In my honest opinion they are still one of my favourite band❤❤❤
