Be easy with those fish. You keep them out of the water entirely too long. I'm not sure if the brown trout made it. The first fish, you have it in the water, but you have its head out of the water? The only part that needs to be in the water, is the head (well the gills). smh
@ReelMichiganAnglers2 күн бұрын
@@Edward-ju1vj that is some good advice. Sometimes easier said than done. As a sidenote, they drop Trout out of airplanes and take them out of water and milk eggs, and milt from fish in the hatchery and then release them. Certainly are fragile, but people underestimate their resilience as well.

What makes you chose a spinning reel over the centerpin ? Conditions ?
@ReelMichiganAnglers9 күн бұрын
@@Abraxastrust I would say I prefer a centerpin for most float fishing applications. I like a baitcaster when fishing bigger rivers where longer casts are needed or when in a boat with others because it is faster and easier to cast. I generally only use the spinning reel for slow water. I think on this day I had my pin rigged up with beads and my spinning reel rigged up with jigs and was using both but only getting action on the jigs. The pin gives you more control and better drifts as a general rule.
