Hey, great video! I also got a manual e92 320d but from 2007 with about 130k km. First owner still but kind of heavily scratched throughout the years unfortunately. This car is just amazing. Never selling it! I remember driving it once on one tank of fuel from Antwerp, Belgium to Perpignan, France (it was really close to being fully empty, lol)

Ignore the complaints - it's refreshing to be spoken to like an adult. You avoid the car review clichés, for example, the obligatory maniacal laugh on acceleration and suchlike. Keep up the good work, man. (PS I don't know where you get the opening music from, but I'd be happy to contribute a piece for another video).

I have this setup on a Miata. They're quite good, but not the best (for the miata). I was limited by TUV certification. If it was today, I might have gone for the KW setup, although they are much, much heavier.
@DriftingSquirrel9 ай бұрын
I can’t comment on whether these are the best or not, especially since that will vary based on what you want to do with the car, but I can vouch for the fact that they’re very well engineered and the dampening is very sophisticated/expensive feeling, allowing the car to behave super well on secondary roads with bumps, track, normal driving etc

I used the F10 M5 full knob. Can’t comment on the e60. I think the stretch could be minimized with more attention on my part. Glueing it not so close to the limits of the plastic gaiter perhaps

@@DriftingSquirrel I bought an Audi A7 3.0 tdi once cause I thought diesel has come a long way in refinement etc, could not stand how it sounded and sold it a few months later. I don't even like turbo petrol cars tbh, I have a 428i which I am selling in favor of a 325i NA engine. My next replacement is going to be the V8 M3. I dont buy into all these advances for efficiency, they make the car more complicated and ruins their sound and refinement. Naturally aspirated petrol is the way to go in my mind.
