I usually just do the edges to remove any burrs. The process usually sharpens the edges really well. Its not a knife, just removing rough spots is plenty. Follow it with a diamond file for a couple of passes, but if you really want to be 'professional' .... use a bit of leader .... like those Italian barbers do with their cut-throats. Then brush and clean the living daylights of the base. Wax ..... i don't bother with scraping it off as it comes off in the first 30mts on the slope anyway.

Thanks for the watch and the comment! If you’re looking for the perfect wax, I’d suggest taking it in to a professional at a local ski shop. A high quality wax comes with a lot of time and practice. That being said, this is how I’ve waxed my skis for the past 21 years, and it’s done quite well. Plus I’ve saved atleast $3 from taking it into a shop. 🙌 I hope you find what you’re looking for and happy winter! ❄️
