THANK YOU!🫶🏻 I knew it had to be easier than my brain was telling me. My bran was saying LOTS of things when I was trying to make some panties in a hurry. I ran the back gusset seam and realized my back panel was the wrong direction. 🤦‍♀️

If you don’t want a zipper you can attach re-enforcements at each end, ie a star or an arrow. This secures your ends. Great video. Looked at a video where she says not to sew the ends, tried it…it does not work well…at least for me. Your tip of sewing down the tips is GREAT!

Thank you thank you, so clear so well explained and demonstrated. Glad you mentioned cutting looper threads not the end of world. I am sure I would cut it and be in a panic. You make a great instructor. Plus you voice is pleasant, loud enough and not racing the clock, and no unnecessary chit chat.

I made reversible suck pads but I’m confused on how to get the snaps to work on either side? Im not sure if I’m just not putting them on right. Right now I can only make them snap on one side.
@TheFabricNinja
@TheFabricNinja 5 ай бұрын
If you lay the suck pad flat in front of you they'll be up on one side and down on the other. Meaning you'll see the caps on one side and the usual side on the other

Many watches use those batteries, so they're not a complete waste if you or someone you know has any dead watches! I made the mistake years ago thinking a winding mechanism was shot and brought my watch into a chain jewler for diagnosis/repair. I essentially paid $20 to watch the guy behind the counter just pop the back off and replace the battery. I felt quite silly.

I have a couch that desperately needs restuffing and I wasn’t able to detach the cushion from the couch….(and couldn’t afford a new couch yet) I was able to unpick some of the side of the cushion and restuff it with stuffing, and then used this stitch to fix it back up and you can’t even tell. Saved my couch and my purse thank you!

This might help. kzbin.info94-WNJY7Y3w?feature=share I make one of these knots then push my needle through the seam and out far away from it. Then I pull the needle and pop the knot to the inside and clip the thread end, letting it be pulled to the inside.

I watched this and had really high hopes. I'm trying to disassemble a gown but the thread chain has no roundish loops. Just very sharp, very narrow V's. I do see the two rows of thread but cutting them does not free them up at all. I told a seamstress friend about it and she offered to demonstrate. After 20 minutes or so she was cussing a blue streak and told me to burn the gown.
