if you are about to do a VS lens the feature one has that the other doesn't have to be used against the other one. what I mean is that because the 35-150 can go to f2.0 need to be taking in acount! because it's a feature that is definitely a reason to choose this lenses.
@BrandonColePhotography3 күн бұрын
@@jaysz666 having the ability to shoot at F2 is good but remember that’s only between 35-37mm. After 37mm it goes it 2.2 and 38 or 39mm at 2.5 . After that you are at 2.8 . So f2 is only usable for about 2 to 3 mm then you are no longer at f2. Cool to have the f2 but not as usable as u think
@jaysz6663 күн бұрын
a little note about the apperture, up to 40mm The lens will feature F2 Aperture, From 40mm to 60mm the lens will show F2.2 Aperture and 60mm to 150mm you will get an F2.8 aperture. you mentinmin your video that after 38 it was 2.8 all the way which is not.

All good but please tell me for the A1- if I am on v2.0 - can I use an SD Card to upgrade to v2.01? This sounds like a lot of work messing around with Mac Securities when every other manufacturer uses SD cards for the updates.

Comparing is wrecking your creativity. You gotta find your own voice. You can look at other people’s work as a guide for your path, and you’ll be ok. Your work rocks, keep goin !

At first I thought it was just in my head, but then I realized it was camera angle and expression. You start out worrying about exposure, posing and composition. Once you master those, you're still trash. Then you rack your brain, trying to figure out why your shots lack artist quality. Then BOOM, it hits you, and when it does, your images will become your favorite over any other photographers. Also you have to able to identify a "chin up" model at a glance. It benefits Noone shooting a "chin down" girl with her "chin up."

Man I been shooting for 4 years now and I still don’t think my images are where they are suppose to be. I stay practicing, learning, trying things, etc to find my groove in photography. I don’t compare my work to other people work because I need to find my own style. When a client comes to me I want them to hire me for my style. Continue to shoot, try different things, and figure out what you want to portray in your shots. A great photographer told me a while ago, “stop shooting for the gram, shoot for you”

I would say that the angle of the lighting was off. The composition was distracting from the model. My eyes are drawn to the kitchen in the background. I would suggest a faster aperture to blur out the backgroun. On top of what Brandon said.

Photography is subjective, just like art is. I've seen photos with blown highlights or deep dark shadows. However, it doesn't mean that they are bad photographs. And the fact that the other photographers had similar results does not mean his photographs aren't good enough. My question is, was he satisfied with what he captured? If no, then next time, try a different approach.

I think the best way to approach this is to ask What he doesn't like about the photo? What does he see on the other photographers shoots that he would like to see on his? And then you can guide him on what he may want to change or do.

Hey Brandon you're man. The first photographer I started following was you. I totally agree with you . What I do is practice practice practice. I brought a mannequin for my home studio. Tried different postions with my lights two three or one light. Believe me it is not as easy as it looks. But the model he had I follow her. I first saw her work with you Brandon and was amazed with her ability. Also with Brandon his knowledge of posing his models. when they needed it.I gotten better at LIGHT positioning. Things like your model posing towards the main light. If the sun comes down. Adjusting for your ambient light. I personally am driven by trying to be the best I can.I appreciate The Pros who are giving us advice and sharing their work. We can always get better. Especially if we're not satisfied with our own work. I have learned by trying, and failing sometimes. And getting it right by continuing not to be satisfied. Man your model is one of the best so with just that allow is enough to be driven. Knowledge and experience and love for photography will always make me do the best I can. But you asked the right person. Brandon Cole is the man.

I also think another thing to consider as such in my case is to take others work as a challenge. When you started sports as a child you were not LeBron but every day that you got better you started to close the gap. Secondly I would say try to master 1 aspect at a time as to not overwhelm yourself during this process. When you get great at 1 thing you'd be surprised how much easier it is to lean into another aspect of photography and come into it with extreme confidence. Stay hungry for knowledge and stay aggressive!
