The Sigma 105mm is definitely killing the shoot after seeing this video. Ive seen many reviews about it but they usually never put the lens to the actual test. Great Focal Length & also very nice sharpness. Keep up the great work brother!

You always make a dull dreary day light up in a dramatic and appealing way. Great job by both of you Was the 2nd flash on during the first part of the session and if so, was it used as a rim light or was it hitting the wall as well? Also, how does the BlackDish fold up?

@@stillsandvideo that Blackdish is collapsible like most . Folding mechanism and yes it was on you can see the falloff on her hair and shoulders but was just enough to seperate her which is what i wanted

Love my Sigma 105mm f1.4 but let's not forget about the 300mm f2.8 . But yeah the 105mm f1.4 is my favorite lens that's in my bag & made me put my 135mm f1.8 away I don't even think to grab it anymore. But I think I'm gonna make myself start back using it.

The 300 2.8 is amazing but not practical for an everyday photoshoot like the 105. 135 is good, but at the sacrifice of distance, and interaction with model.

she is very cute. i'm glad she didn't have long eyelashes making it difficult to light the eyes I used to love shooting against murals and graffiti walls but now I think it distracts too much from the model, especially if the model doesn't pose well. This shoot is an exception 16:58 🙌🏾

Hi Brandon. Love your work. Do the models pay you? or do you pay the models? And where do you or they sell the photos, or is it just for fun?

He (Brandon) won't answer you, don't waste your time. Instead concentrate on your own portfolio, until its better than his and then you will find answers. Start of with friends modelling for you. Then work towards Instagram models (paid/unpaid) and then end with using agencies called "tests" which means shooting with new models for free. It'll be unpaid but you have access to good quality models. When your work is good enough, the agency will ask you for your fee and how much you charge and you'll have access to main board models. I have an amazing relationship with my models. We work hand in hand that way can i use them as a canvas when i need to shoot something and create content and in return, not only do they get some of the most amazing images from a shoot but most of the time, the shoot is recorded for my youtube and models are able to use that content to promote themselves, giving them an up over other models for bigger jobs. So its a win win. But when I host photography events, I do pay my models for hours of their time.

Bro Please why do I always get the face in focus but not the other part of the body? I use Sony A7R iii with Sony 85mm f/1.8 Can you help? Anyone can help?

First , slow down and take your time when focusing. If you move to fast, the camera will lock onto the face but blur out the rest of the body more then it should. Second, you are shooting with a 1.8 so according to the plain, you will have out of focus areas as the things start to fade away from the focal point. Stop down to about F2.8 if you are not liking the look at 1.8
