I was in the 5th grade and I was only 12 years old when I first heard this song in May 2013. I was waiting for my mother and her friend from a shopping centre while sitting in a car and listening to the radio. It was the end of the school day and maybe even the end of the school itself. I live in Russia and back then we had western charts on the radio, I really liked the song (I used to like it till maybe mid-10s). Even though I was young and I didn't know that there was Shazam already, I just googled some lyrics that I could identify with my humble skills at the time. Jesus I'm still coming back to this song. It always reminds me of this beautiful day. It was a warm sunny evening, I caught something like golden hour and glad school was over and I am so young and untouched by life's troubles. Now we don't even have good music on the radio, something that inspires you or just be acceptable to listen to. I miss those times so much when we were connected to the outer world (like fucking music on the radio) and the world wasn't that harsh yet. In 2024 it's really surprising that this kind of music was a thing. It's completely gone. And this is a sad fact. Also thank you Blondfire. You made my entire 2013 experience with this song! Miss the yellowish filter and joyful tunes.
