There are two ways to cover the Ramones well; You either play the song like the Ramones (no unnecessary changes, no making the song easier to play), or you just really make it your own... like it could have been something else entirely. This is an example of the latter, and it's fantastic. What a great treatment of this song, with excellent playing and lovely but haunting vocals. Johnny Ramone loved RHCP's cover of Havana Affair because of how they made it their own. I think he would have liked this, too.

Wonderful rendition. Beautiful vocals and instrumentals. As a fan of The Ramones, I am always overjoyed when their music is covered. I like the fact that this isn't a verbatim recreation of the song. We have the original and I'm interested in where others take the music while keeping the essence of the song.
