Can i combine method 1 with method 3?
@bjjstripes2782
@bjjstripes2782 7 ай бұрын
Yeah you should be able to but, method 3 works like a buddy tape. If one of the finger is really messed up and you need the other finger as a support beam.

Nice to see this. Just for those watching, though he does do this, make sure when you get to the end you tear off the tape near the top side of your fingers, not on the underside of your finger as when you grip, the tape will start to peel off. Great demo though!

FYI don’t use tape unless you really have too. Once the finger pain dissipates and the tendons heal your grip will be more stronger once you train without tape. Couple people at my gym tape very finger and can’t deal with everyday tasks lol

Your finger probably hurt because you taped them so tight their already turning purple 😂🤣😂🤣 but srly, I'm going to have to try that later. How do you get your tape so thin?
@bjjstripes2782
@bjjstripes2782 3 жыл бұрын
LOL...The tape actually helps a lot with the finger joints. Doesn't feel as horrible the next day after grip fights in the gi. Just make sure that you leave some slack so that there is blood flow hehe. The tape is designed that way. We now have a thicker version of the tape. You'd want to check it out in our website :) Thanks for the comment buddy.

How about stop relying on grips and figure out your technique better. Grips are nice, but if you have to hold them just to survive, you are doing it wrong. Just a thought.

surly starting out you have to learn from the base so technique comes with time spent in the mat. by then your fingers be messed up because you grip alot just a thought.

Have you seen high-level bjj matches? They are always heavy on the grips. If you can't match the intensity, you're not gonna make it.
