Thanks for this visual review. Very helpful. How would this work for a parent with baby in front carrier? Is there enough room in there for this scenario? Can this be used without putting arms through arm holes so mom or dad can keep hands on infant in chest carrier? I would love to see a review of the Cascade Rescue StableSeat that seems like a comparable product.

Hi there! It would need to be assessed on a case by case basis - if the baby was small, it may work, however you'd need be cautious of any crushing caused during the lift - one alternate solution is to use 2x of these devices, one for baby, one for parent, utilizing the infant restraint straps inside - alternately CMC also makes the "Stork" infant rescue bag designed specifically for baby rescues. Regarding the arms, it's always better to have the arms through the holes as intended although it is possible to use the device with the arms inside, rescuers would need to make this assessment on a case-by-case basis and use their discretion. In our opinion the CMC bag is the best and most versatile option on the market, we love it!

Around the world, this is the most popular helicopter for air rescue and is also used by many countries for their police forces. They must all be idiots to buy this machine. And Dave must be an idiot if he praises this H145 like that. Or is it perhaps just that you are a narrow-minded, uneducated and prejudiced person? For sure.... I feel sorry for you. Get your mental state checked out.
@gerhardma4297
@gerhardma4297 5 ай бұрын
All police forces worldwide and all air rescue services have bought it because they liked the design? My friend, you have zero idea, just a lot of ignorance and arrogance.... Knowledge is power, you have none of it and education ... or is it simply a lack of intelligence? I believe the latter because why would an experienced pilot lie....

Basically the same diameter, but 15% more lift capacity! So finally a smooth flight with almost the same lift capacity as a 902. just lacks the safety cell etc. (which we still had in the BK…)

beautiful heli, would love to get in the right seat of a H145 eventually. Wasn't mentioned in the video but with that 4-axis AP system I assume this aircraft is IFR capable as well. Insane technology compared to the Robinsons I fly haha.

Wells you sees squirrelly dan, the autopilots on these new helicopters is actually pretty remarkables. There’s basically some servos ups there in the mechanical parts, and those are controlled by some pretty smarts computers down in the computer sections. Would you believes it, they can actually control the helicopter in all 4 of the axis, ups and downs, lefts and rights, forwards and backs, and even turns! It’s so accurates that it’ll hovers all by itself! We appreciates the comment!

Hey Dan! If you're using a Mac (Like we do) we've had good success with keeping it simple using something like iMovie - Adobe premiere elements (purchased outright) is also a good choice for both windows and Mac systems and is a little more full-feature!

Mapping severity of spin against distance below aircraft and airspeed for each aircraft type is a method being developed to aid understanding of hoist load spin. At the recent ICAR 2022 Air Commission, Colorado National Guard gave a presentation about doing this for their UH-60 and UH-72. The examples shown in this SR3 video are broadly consistent with their mapped results considering the differences in aircraft weight and configuration.
@SR3_Rescue
@SR3_Rescue Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! We've seen the Colorado Guard's presentation and we tend to agree, the concepts discussed in that presentation largely follow what we've seen in the field under other aircraft types as well!
@jimf671

In the UK, all hoist operations tend to be done with HI-Line (heaving-in line, tag-line). Mountain and Coastguard rescue teams are all trained in this technique (I set up just such an exercise last weekend) and aircrew have had a lot of success in getting members of the public to perform this task based on a quick brief from the winchman. While I expect UK SAR helicopter operators to watch what is happening with development of these methods, I do not expect things to change much. There is complete confidence in the HI-line method, it is widely trained, works where visibility and obstructions hamper entry to forward flight and is a proven solution for use with large powerful aircraft with modern blades (AW189, S-92A, AW101).
