I've enjoyed mine so far, but you gotta keep the pizzas going in and out or the stone gets too hot in-between and will scorch the bottoms quick. Really hoping for some sort of regulator/limiter that can decrease the bottom heating element power at some point so it can be dialed in. I did find doubling up the stones and leaving the dial between the off/high setting just before it shuts off (and then on high while cooking) helps.

I just received mine and notice the high and med settings are exactly the same and the low setting is just slightly less. Even on low it likes to burn the bottom a bit soon. May try adding another stone to bring the pie up a bit more and reduce bottom heat. Now, I just need a way to limit the gas flow to the bottom heater.

I’ve ate pizza in every state, no joke. What you’re showing us is a very burnt pizza here. Was that user error or does every pie come out this way?

That's not a smash burger. You need to press the patties down to a quarter of an inch thick for a true smash burger. They will fatten up as they cook and the diameter shrinks. Us beef with at least a 15 percent fat content.

just bought one and made pizza for the first time today, doing a ny style pizza the versa to me felt much safer than my onni, I wasnt worried it was going to burn. Some say ooni is more Neapolitan which might be right but the dual heat and rotation are great on this machine which the Ooni doesnt have. My Ooni was the koda 16
@JohnWalker-z3g7 ай бұрын
I have a Halo 16 and love the fact it has a rotating stone. I heat it up for about 12 minutes and launch my pizza. Now I have only cooked NY Style pizza's in it so I can't speak for Neapolitan but for a 15" NY Style pizza it works well. Takes about 4-5 minutes but I am not in a hurry. The oven is easy to clean. I have been interested in the new Gozney ARC Xl but I am not sure I want to stand and keep having to turn the pizza to keep it from burning. The guy in this video just maybe didn't let it cook long enough but I am sure he did better with the next one.

That’s way too hot of a stone for NY style pizza
@Jaykav996 ай бұрын
Just got mine and so far i think preheating on high is the best thing 15-20 mins...then turn the knob somewhere between high and medium for the cook...still dialing in my settings...but overall has done ny style very well.

@@hildalopez1252 Actually just got mine, got a project bonus at work for the cash lol, so far I have done two ny style pizzas and I have to say if thats what you like to cook its a great oven. I was able to cook ny style on the ooni koda but not with out constant watching and very low temps. The dual burner and rotation make it a very stress free cook
