It's important to take these as general guidelines, rather than an actual rank accurate assessment. For me I know that even tho I was diamond, my aim was dogshit and working on it for two weeks got me to Ascendant. I still need improvement as a 0.9kd Reyna player 😭😭

Lol, this is why Valorant creators don't bother with actual educational content... gamers like Dopai have it on lockdown. Keep ranking up, gamers!

This is such a good way to teach crosshair placement, most of the creators just tell you to counter strafe and pre aim for headshots and not talk about the efficiency while aiming

Hm. It works. Now that im more aware of what my preferred aiming style is (flicking) i can actually focus on that and improve. Great vid, gave me the ah-ha! moment.

If I'm confident about my aim, why should I bother trying to improve crosshair placement over improving other aspects of the game (strategies, pre-round planning, positioning, etc.?)

I feel like some of your personal ranked clips are contradicting what you are saying the video from 1:30, I rewatched a few times just in case I didnt get it, but a lot of your clips you had to constantly compensate for where your crosshair was placed as you kept needing to flick opposite of the wall where your crosshair was holding. Like to me that Pearl clip you showed on your bad crosshair placement was how it felt for most of your personal clips used as examples. The two clips on 2:07 also really confused me especially the second one. I assume the second one was for a mistake showcase but it wasnt directly said so idk. The first one also showed u holding wide, inside the wall, hugging the corner, going wide again all very fast so it kinda looked like you just struggled to hold your crosshair right in that clip. I suggest slowing it down to break it up like the custom game examples you had. The pro examples were really good though, especially the Aspas clip

This was a good baseline for people looking to improve aim. Remember though, aim is just one of the core fundamentals for getting better at a FPS game. You still need to develop multiple other skills that can only be attained in game. Aim complements these skills and vice versa.

I didnt play this game for years started to play ranked on the hard reset and got placed into diamond 1, went on a 12 winstreak solo que everygame my teammates where just smarter and knew how to hold angles and get info. Got to ascendant 3 80rr and then lost 6 in a row every game i had 1 or 2 teamates afk for the first 3 or 4 rounds, had teammates who said im going to make sure we lose then throw. I think its all good with improving your own mechanics and gameplay but it still doesnt stop any losses that you will get from the coin flip. Iv had consistently immortal 2s and 3s go 2 and 20 in these games and have no knowledge of what you expect that rank to have. Which just says to me ranked means nothing i dont think there is any difference between any of these levels maybe at radiant and most imm 3 players but everything else under is just a huge coinflip and no major difference in the skill gap

I used to think aim trainers is the most efficient way, but honestly my improvement was kind of mediocre for 1.5h daily x 2 weeks. I swapped over to my old reliable Nats routine and I could sense the difference after a couple of days. I think aim training is important, but not nearly as important as combining movement and gunfight hygiene.
@joshualagrave586212 күн бұрын
do u think that movement in this game is a lot easier to master than aim. i feel like most people in asc have pretty solid movement where u have to get to radiant to see really nice shots or multi kills. what do you think this is a biproduct of? or do you think im even right?

Aim trainer main here! o/ we like changing up sensitivity based on scenario, but we have specific techniques for specific scenarios, still there are many techniques that can be applied to a lot of scenarios. Personally I like switching sens to make scens harder and still keeping my prefered technique, a lot techniques depend mostly on tension management tho! So summed up aiming styles in tacfps are mostly personal preference and low and high sens just leans into the comfort! Anyhow I hope yall have a splendid day! o7
