Three things you might want to cover 1: His ult can be popped like a sky flash. You don’t always have to send him to jump and risk jumping past the enemy you want to detain. Once you left click you can left click again to pop it early. The less time they have to shoot thrash the more free the detain becomes. 2: Thrash dies to a single pump by a judge. Be careful when playing against judge players. 3: The flash takes a second or two to reach full speed. When playing against people who are good at shooting dizzy, consider how close you are to the wall you’re sending dizzy around. You don’t want to be within 1-2 metres otherwise it’s easy to shoot and the value is less because the flash hasn’t activated yet. You want them to have as little time as possible to react

@@Espoooon when you throw dizzy he is not able to immediately flash someone the second he leaves your hand. There is a period of roughly a second and a bit where he will not flash anyone he sees. This is why it is a bad idea to think of his flash like a Kayo right click pop flash because it does not work that quickly. It is more of a left click in that it takes a second or so to pop. Have you ever watched a TenZ or Asuna Kayo vod where they say “pop” when their flash pops? This is to indicate that passage of time and draw attention to the moment of opportunity where the opponent is blind. If you are playing gekko you need to be mindful of that initial period after throwing his flash where he will not blind anyone. In other words if you want to flash for someone you want to make sure the way you throw dizzy limits the time one can take to avoid being flashed (by shooting dizzy). The less time you have to react to the flash, the better and if you throw the flash from too close to the angle you are peeling the flash will spend more time out in the open without actually being able to flash anyone so it’s a lot easier to see coming. You can kinda use gekko flash like a Reyna flash by using it to bait their crosshair from your head

Some missing information in this guide... 1) gekko blind is cheeks if you don't combine utility with it. Reyna blind, skye flashes, yoru flashes are all perfect with it since it forces them to either shoot out your flash or look away and get flashed anyways. If you are not actively using it in combination with something you will rarely have good value come out of it. 2) Thrasher's first use should be focused on getting info and getting that second use. If you are straying way too far into enemy map control you are automatically losing 50% of the value from your ult. Instead of pushing the extremity, look to bring thrasher back so you can pick it up again. Obviously if you see an enemy stun them, but still try to make that your goal. 3) A nice tip for clearing angles is with wingman + dizzy. If you use wingman against a wall to bounce off and face the enemies, you can time it properly to where you can use both utility. What's so powerful about this is that it makes it a similar situation to the 1st tip where the enemies either get stunned for shooting the flash, or flashed for shooting the wingman. One of my favorite spots to do this is on Breeze B-site near the boxes since the pillar hides dizzy up until the peak of the flash.

Similar to Reyna, the enemy has the chance to shoot the flash before being blinded. I wonder if Riot decided that flashes that don’t blind allies, need a way to be countered by enemies

I think the strongest part of his kit is that his flash doesn't affect his team, unlike every other flash in the game. It's real strong but I don't think it's OP, I just think it puts him on a different level from all the other flash initiators. I wouldn't want him nerfed. I'd rather see other agents buffed to match him better, since I don't actually hate going against anything in Gecko's kit.

when gekko first came out and everyone was calling him ass, i believed then they reduced the pick up timers like 3 times in a row and i knew it was time for him to be pokemon master. tbh, constant util uptime is just busted

Gekko players in my lobby’s are the worst players imaginable. I swear every time I see a Gekko on my team or the other, they are god awful. Agent is decent, I find a lot of players in ascendant over value his abilities and think because they have it they have to use it. Like taking out wingman when not safe in a 1v1, or picking up a flash they threw deep, or mindlessly running at thrash trying to get it back. Gekko is a very strong agent, but people have to remeber, sometimes it’s better and correct to keep your damn gun out.
