I’ve always just drilled the hole bigger so the ball can fit. Works perfectly fine.

What happens if you connect the hose directly to tank and heater?

I just picked one up as "clearance" at Home Depot for $336. I havent even unboxed it yet, but I bought it to use to air up tires, use blow guns and I want to buy an air impact gun for when I do automotive repairs, Unlike others, I have a turbine HVLP Sprayer that sounds like a vacuum LOL and works well for painting so I just need this for my reg car maintenance related uses. and basic around the house needs. For my uses I think this should last a long time.

wow what a great little tool hack... I saw another vid of yours where the tools don't really line up great.. with that in mind, if you were to do it again, would you add more tracks to make it more "universal" , or does it work well wit h3 tracks?

The cover FITS the RAMbox; keeps the sun out but not the rain. Ask me how i know. All the BAK hard covers leak and get saturated with water, weighing twice as much as when new.

I am confused. So you can't use a 20 lb tank with buddy heater inside the house in cases of power failure? What about refillable 1 lb canisters?

Hi. My hose does not have the 1”x20 threads. Is that a piece I can purchase? Is that how I ask for it, or is that how they’ll be labeled at the store? Thank you!

What happens to the felt cover if it gets wet? Does it end up smelling funky? I'm looking at this or the armor version.

It's a great trimmer and the 40V battery is good for about an hour which is ample time for needs. I don't love it any more than my Toro lawn mower or 40V snow blower. But bottom line, it does the job.

What about the feet on each? I’ve been reading reviews of different platforms on Amazon and one common complaint is that the feet (usually made of plastic), a lot of times feel like they would slip on tile, hardwood floors, etc….

Excellent video, very well presented! Just one negative, you said the chain was loose out of the box. To a beginner, this might imply that once adjusted it can be assumed that it will stay at that adjustment. The first thing a new user should learn, is how to adjust the tension, and to look at it every time the chain stops, assuming that it WILL loosen at some point. Especially when it is cold, and it warms up in the first few minutes of use.

I don't use seat belts and i don't wear a motorcycle helmet, so my logic says to go ahead and bring a 5-20lb tank in the house and have the heater on a hose 12' away, crack a window and i should be fine, right?

I have the MX4. I've had it for about six years - it leaks like a sieve and the panel hinge completely separated at the first joint with no repair available , maybe the ultra flex will be better.

I seem to have done something wrong with mine when I tried to use a 20 lb tank as described here. The heater now only burns at a high flame and can't be turned down to use more safely, so it's basically worthless for camping now. What did I do wrong?

I have a bladed brush blade and metal edger head. I have a gas model and a 40 volt. Gave the other gas head away. My biggest complaint is heavy. I gor a harness strap to try and want to get a goliath or bicycle type handle.

I own the 40v 14" chain saw, hedge trimmer and blower like yours. And they all work absolutely fine. However I was eyeing the 40v trimmer for my next purchase to guess what? To edge my driveway and you blew that out of the water. I have a Honda 4 stroke trimmer with bicycle handles but the bicycle handles make it so awkward to edge the driveway I have to pull out my gas edger if I want to do it right. But thanks for the review you addressed exactly my concern for the Ryobi 40v trimmer.

Just a simple thing to remember. Your lawn tractor only has rear brakes. If the item you are towing is tail heavy or the load shifts the rear of the tractor will be lifted. At that point, you become a passenger, not an operator. Happened to me towing rocks and the crash at the end was not pretty.
