Looking like a cool truck in still good condition! "Sheep A Trucking AK" , does that still exist? And do you know the reason they parked the truck?

Apparently one of the axle shafts broke and the truck got parked and time just slipped away. Thanks for watching!

Very cool that you can walk around and seeing it close by. Those planes are so majestic! Went to Lincolnshire the UK on the motorcycle back in 2017 ,They had a Lancaster "Just Jane" there that they were rebuilding to make it air worthy ! Standing next to the landing gear makes you feeling tiny. Much respect for all those who went in those planes overseas into the unknown.

Our old trailer deck had a selection of holes and ruts, too. We took to carrying scrap steel sheets to strategically position in order to prevent car wheels from falling through.

Our best steel all made before the second world war. Not real sure why they seem to just run forever but even worn out, they keep running.... down a cylinder?? No problem, it just putts along and still will run, I had one that only three cylinders fired but even then, start in cold weather, idle a bit and then go

I am sure you get the "Ah, you should restore it or give it a paint job" when its best day of service has past a long time ago. Try making it to Anchorage in one day without beating yourself to death on our great roads we pay for in taxes and yet never see a patch that lasts longer than the day it was done. Good times friend, and until we meet in a place we call heaven or other places some refure to.... heaven is where/what we make it and life is everyday. Living is what we do an so only die once if things go right.

Thank you for this video. You certainly gave Regina the Cook’s Tour ! She is smiling in practically every frame. Those museum exhibits were interesting and I was gratified to see more driving footage of your famous GMC. The surveying instrument displayed in one museum railcar reminded me of James Hector, the surveyor who was famously knocked unconscious by a horse at Kicking Horse Pass in Canada and subsequently almost buried alive. James emigrated to New Zealand, worked here as a surveyor and became renowned as a local explorer. He was appointed Chief Scientific Advisor to the government and first curator of the Colonial Museum in Wellington, latterly known as the Dominion Museum and now Te Papa. He was knighted for his services to New Zealand. Mount Hector in the Tararua Ranges is named in his honour and is also the site of the War Memorial Cross erected by local tramping clubs after WW1. Cheers from New Zealand🇳🇿 and please keep these videos coming.

All just memories of how we did or thought of things. Its our memories only as kids don't give a damn about history. I saw and used junk like this in Thorne Bay back in the seventies. We thought we had a gold mine in parts to keep our other junk running. I have changed a lot, memories are fading fast as I have trouble remembering to just eat sometimes. I worry about dementia as time goes by. I ain't nothing like I used to be
