Take a road trip with Regina and I as we explore some of the wild places in Alaska and search for old trucks and other forgotten relics from Alaska's long ago past. In this video we travel along Alaska's majestic Turnagain Arm and visit some of the roadside attractions while enroute to Alaska's Butte. We catch a quick glimpse of the Alaska Railroad and also explore a recycling yard and a gravel hauling company with many classic semi trucks, some of which are still in use. Was the closing of Jim's liquor store because they had to remove the sign or was it time for retirement?

I'm not really sure, I believe it was closed simply out of retirement. - I remember when you could see that sign flashing for a whole mile, it was a hopping place. Thanks for watching!

I've never been to Alaska or anywhere else with a plane (most of my holiday trips were by motorcycle) But it's interesting to see the old things trucks and mother nature in different places!
