It is magnacut but that shouldn't be why the price is so much. The price is this much for many reasons including materials, times to machine, quality of machining, location it was made (San Francisco.) magnacut is popular right now which is what increases the price because of the demand for it. A regular argument I hear is that magnacut should be more affordable and would be if it wasn't such a popular metal. Ultimately blade steel makes the least difference for a knife's performance.

JK is a nice guy with good customer service. While I know CRK has had good service in the past, I've heard it has been shakey since the son took over but I do have a CRK Sebenza in large and small. This is about the size of the small. I don't think it's a knife most people are going to buy because of the price point, not the customer service. You have to be aware of JK and enjoy his work. I think it's a cool knife 🤷♀️

I love the acid washed blades this one is hella sexy tho. I own 3 of his balisongs. 2 different orca v2’s and an embargo. I would love to add one of these to my jk collection. You are right I think the ones buying these are already fans of jks work.

I got one as well I like the weight of it for my wrist I broke it pretty good skating awhile back and I can flip this Bali all day no problem. definitely is a different feel and sound but I really love it. I’m liking the neutral weights at the moment flows really nice

I really like the anodization job Blake did on this, It's more just that the design is not anything as unique as the Nakiri. That being said it has a very unique feel in hand in part because of how lightweight it is but also because of the placement of the cutouts. I think my favorite is still the Nakiri. I also recently acquired a MachineWise Totori trainer and I like the handles quite a bit but something about the weight that is still throwing me off even though it is a fantastic flipper.

I'm not sure about camera quality. Make sure you're shooting in HD and your phone isn't doing some weird compression. I think iPhone likes to default with some goofy compression so that might be it. I use a pixel 7 pro 🤘

@@JonsBalisongBlunders The fps on my vids sometimes look less when uploaded, not shot on iPhone though (no pun intended), on a Zenphone 5, and it looks normal when played on my phone, KZbin settings are also set to the highest quality for uploading. Maybe it's a YT thing and chose to pick yours to preserve the quality as you have quality videos😁

Not exactly sure what you mean but this is a trainer so there is no edge so no possibility of getting cut with this one 🤘 none of my live blades are dual edged though

😈 you should have seen what I cut out. Stabbed the brick a few times and did more damage to the bricks than the tip. Couldn't get the camera to focus though so I cut it out. Quality steel on this knife 🤘
