The only difficult part of Charge Blade is learning how to transfer energy around; After getting a handle on that, it's basically Switch Axe + Sword and Shield.

I have been gaming since the 80s and i have never watched a video where they use switch controls. I understand this came started on switch. It is just weird as hell to hear zl zr for buttons lol

MH1, MH2, MH2G (or freedom unit), MH3rd, MHtri player here. Just started playing MH sunrise and your guide is actually really nice. First MH games lacked all the new mobility available in this game, and it's great to see all of the dual blades 'basics' explained in a short format video. Thank you

I love the heavy bowgun, its absurdly fun. Hope there is a way to get that rapid speed fire mode back in wilds because it combos so well with sticky and slicing ammo.

This is my first MH game in a long while since MH4U and man did this helped a lot. Not sure that "wake up option" is a SF reference was intentional but boy did it give me a slight chuckle. Had to do a little control translating since I'm playing it on pc but overall it has been helpful.

why use a specific control scheme so people need to convert to their own controls instead of using the actual names of the attacks?(light attack, heavy attack and special attack)

There was only one control scheme at the time of making this video because it was a switch exclusive. That's why.

I'm in the same boat! I played it quite a bit on release but all my knowledge is almost forgotten so these quick videos are great for reminding myself how each weapon plays and I don't need a SUPER in depth guide at the moment.

I think this game is still relevant if you want to play monster hunter but don't have a good PC or any console. Emulating psp is so light and easy and playing online with friends is pretty easy. Playing on 3ds emulator isn't so bad when you have a PC with dual monitors, but can be a real PITA if you're using a single small screen like your phone. Then you can gotta bind your extra buttons to touch screen points so you can do essential things like traveling between hubs in mh4u

Got this game today. Through all the games Ill play I would automatically get bows but I was surprised how shit the bow is in this game I had to choose the heavy guns as a total noob. Its stylish though but I hated having 2dmg 🫠😅😂

Das ist mal ein Video, bei dem man nicht gleich 200 verschiedene Waffen bzw Rüstungsteile braucht. Mir ist klar das man das auf jedes Monster anpassen sollte zwecks DMG, aber ich zb habe keine Lust erst 200Std zufarmen um dann 1 mal nen Rata zu killen...

what is ZR? i am using a ps4 controller and i tried every shoulder button with B(o) r2 with O so the right big one bit the right B button does a weird back slash that only works after doins something else first but i never have what you do there

It's based on a switch controller. Your issue is you are assuming B is O when it would be X on a ps4 controller. When I made this guide the game was a Switch exclusive. But I have made another revision of the guide with other inputs and you can find it in the description
