Hey man how do you disconnect the reverse cable on the back of motor? And does the foot shifter shaft need to come out also ? Trying to replace my pickup coil no fire issue

Great video! I'm in the market for a used fixer-up-er cart. Not very happy to learn about the OBD on Club Car as I have had my eyes open for used CC Precedent.. What cart would you say is the most reliable and bulletproof in the year-model range between 2005-2015. I'm in Sweden so a used Club Car from 05 is about 4-5 grand US.

I have a 2016 club car that has 6 8v batteries 2 out of the 6 are at 7.6v rest at 8.6 it keeps jerking or halting while at full gas what could the issue be. Also if I touch metal to some of the wores on the terminal it may spark even when off

@@davidpinter1651 why would you touch metal to the wires? 7.6volts is too low for 8volt batteries. Those 2 low voltage batteries could be bad causing it to shutoff due to a low voltage shutdown error. Try replacing those 2 batteries first. How old and what brand are those batteries?

A question bro, the ignition coil on my Sportsman 500 was removed by someone else and they only connected the brown wires on top but not the ones on the bottom. Do you have any idea what wires or color go on the bottom?

@@jeshualee2711 well I’m glad you only wire the right way. All my shit works and know one knows.. If you can’t follow a wire get out of my shop. I have stuff from the 70’s and 6 guys have reworked the wires… and none of them did even a okay job half of the time. I don’t have money to waste relooming a working truck, because it makes some feel icky. I’ll make them all black next trailer that eats dirt, just for you bud.

Nice video, keep up the good work. I would recommend use a tripod to install your phone/camera and a laser pointer as tools to help you explain what is going on under the golf cart. I think it would improve your videos quality. But your knowledge is impressive thank you

Letting the smoke out is the worst thing you can do with wiring! Its such a bitch to get that stuff back into those little strands its not even funny! We all know when you don't have enough smoke in those wires, things just wont work some of the time and they become very unreliable. There! You are now smarter than a 5th grader!🤣

Do the big 3 grounds. Engine to battery to body and back to the engine. That covers most grounding issues and it even works on old stuff like my 1977 winibago RV when the internal lights wouldn't come on.

@@jeshualee2711 You run a separate heavy gauge wire for each leg. 10 gauge should work for an ATV I would think. There is videos on YT about it.

This video helped me a ton…thank you Jeshua!! When I crank mine, the injector sprays a normal spray for maybe 6-8 cranks then there is no spray. Should I assume the fuel pump is bad?

Great video! Your knowledge and experience is very impressive. I have an EZ-Go 48 TXT which makes no noise at all. I replaced the batteries, the charger, and the 4 wire charger socket. Any advise on exactly where the wires should connect? The largeer black and red are a no brainer, but the white and the thin blue wire are a mystery. Thank you in advance.

Move the pick up closer to the coil that’s their biggest problem re spark.

@@jeshualee2711 yea I have a 2011 one and if you get a week start it’s the first thing to check under the cover before you take the starter engager out they vibrate away from the coil.

Thanks man! Great info ❤ My 2015 570 coughs and sputters after hours of perfect running. After a 15 minute shutdown, it runs perfect again. I’ve changed the spark plug. And I’ve ordered a new air filter. Haven’t had a chance to test it yet. I just can’t see it being the fuel pump in my case. Anyone able to speak to this?

Mine is spraying. I get 300 rpms when cranking. Ive pulled the spark plug cleaned it. If i spray starting fluid it will run. Please help.

@@hp5469 try replacing the spark plug. Remove the air filter and see if it runs without the air filter.

@jeshualee2711 spark plug has plenty of spark. Air filter is off. I just got a new injector. I wasn't sure the injector was spraying properly, it looked weak. Which I realize I guess could be the pump. It seems to pump just fine though.

I bought a Craftsman 42 inch about 10 years ago it needed a new transmission the 3rd year. I had to keep up the warranty at $350 a year because the transmission needed to be replaced about every 6-9 months. I finally got tired of it and got rid of it. Craftsman new the transmission was shit.

Can i just undo the clip and disconnect the line to see if i have pressure? Because i did.. and it will not spray out when cranking. But it will steady drip if i hold line down. Thanks

@@justicebruno5249 no, don't disconnect the line from the injector housing. It's usually too hard to remove and may break. You want to hear the pump run for a second and see it spray out the injector. If there is nothing spraying out the injector but the pump runs for a couple of seconds, then the pump or injector is bad.

@@jeshualee2711 it didn't break . I'm pretty sure I hear the pump. Fuel just drips. I'd imagine if it not making to the fuel rail it won't spray into the injector. unless the connection has a built in check valve? But I can try hooking it back up. Pulling the injector. Thanks for the info

I fixed it by moving the throttle cable forward more and cleaning the gunk off of the choke stem that goes down into the carburetor.

And that linkage laddle is extremely fragile. Mine broke so it's perpetually stuck half way. Never has triuvle starting, but has surging and dying issues.
