In the Filipino culture, family is a priority. As a man, if you cannot handle that reality, then don't even think of getting into a relationship with a breadwinner. Dont even dare ro make her choose. IM TELLING YOU, YOU WILL NEVER WIN.

More than debt of gratitude, it’s made out of love at the bottom line. That is why it’s hard to stop extending help.
@ßhopkins13 сағат бұрын
True. Its mostly done out of great love for the family. I think its a beautiful thing as long as you set limitations.

Ikaw ang minsan sa mga palagi isn't the sometimes to my always. Direct translation: you are the sometimes to the always. Meaning: you're the type to come once in a while. You're unique. You're not common.

Dionela (Dayo - nela) is the vocalist surname.in old days Bulacan is well-known in balagtasan, using old Tagalog words, they are very poetic. 😊 The whole band are from bulacan..
@axelmoto11 күн бұрын
dude if you read Dionela's Lyrics you need to read it with deep understanding in old Filipino literature. translating it into English and trying to understand - it has different meaning.

5:11 Ariel Rivera’s classic song has something similar too. Dahil ang minsan ay magpakailanman - Because sometimes is forever. Nothing wrong with using malalim na tagalog. I heard Dionela’s song Marilag. I liked it. I grew up in the Philippines seeing that word as street names. I just found out it means beautiful. Good to see a revival of the words. To keep the words alive they have to be used not just in art and literature but also in music. We should appreciate people using it rather than pulling them down.
@musikalora15 күн бұрын
"Ikaw ang minsan SA MGA palagi" translates in English as "You are the 'sometimes' in THE MANY 'always' " not "in my always". In other words, a rare occurrence in the usual or regularity. That phrase alone is gold.

I think maybe in Philippines, 75% of Pinoys speak fluent in english. And the 15% can fully understand english but not fluent (meaning a lot of grammatical errors and lack of Vocabularies). And the 5% have limited knowledge in english. And the last 5% have 0 english knowledge.

My American husband and I love UFC sweet chili sauce and U love Mang Tomas sauce. Unfortunately when we go to the nearby Filipino store last week, NO UFC sweet chili sauce and NO Mang Tomas sauce because it’s banned here in America. Now we have to buy Jufran sweet chili sauce and it tastes good. Sweet chili sauce from Thailand and other Asian countries doesn’t taste as good s Filipino products.

Potassium iodate (KIO3) and potassium iodide (KI) are both iodine-rich salts used to correct iodine deficiency and prevent thyroid damage in the event of a nuclear reactor accident: Stability: KIO3 is more stable than KI and has a longer shelf life, especially in hot and humid climates. KI evaporates easily during long storage. Bioavailability: KI is more bioavailable than KIO in humans. Effectiveness: KI is more effective than KIO for biofortifying vegetables with iodine. Safety: Some health authorities question the safety of KIO for humans and animals. Use in salt: In the United States, iodized salt uses KI, but other countries, especially tropical countries, use KIO3 because it's more stable. Use in baked goods: KIO3 is not widely used in baked goods, but it may break down in dough and in the body to form iodide. Side effects: KI can cause side effects like a runny nose. It may not be safe for people with thyroid nodules, heart disease, certain medications, or other conditions.

We don't need personality in politics, we need proper policy execution in the Philippines. A president who'd initiate a project to improve public transportation and infrastructure. Improve the drainage system to mitigate the catastrophe of floods, and an improved pension program because the Philippines is not senior citizen friendly. These are immediate concerns I hope are catered to.
