5:11 Ariel Rivera’s classic song has something similar too. Dahil ang minsan ay magpakailanman - Because sometimes is forever. Nothing wrong with using malalim na tagalog. I heard Dionela’s song Marilag. I liked it. I grew up in the Philippines seeing that word as street names. I just found out it means beautiful. Good to see a revival of the words. To keep the words alive they have to be used not just in art and literature but also in music. We should appreciate people using it rather than pulling them down.

"Ikaw ang minsan SA MGA palagi" translates in English as "You are the 'sometimes' in THE MANY 'always' " not "in my always". In other words, a rare occurrence in the usual or regularity. That phrase alone is gold.

Dionela (Dayo - nela) is the vocalist surname.in old days Bulacan is well-known in balagtasan, using old Tagalog words, they are very poetic. 😊 The whole band are from bulacan..
