Bob Dylan was never known for being a good singer it’s the song writing. I don’t know why it’s outrageous to hear someone say his voice sucks.

To say you don’t like his voice is one thing to say he can’t sing is just absolutely ridiculous.

Just because Bob Dylan was a great lyrcist does NOT mean he could sing. His voice sounds like every cousin u know who sings in the shower and sound terrible. Voice is an OBJECTIVE MEASURABLE thing, there is a bare minimum that u can physically measure by a simple pitch graph. Subjectivity only starts above that bare minimum of atleast singing on pitch. So scientificaly and ear wise his voice sucks, wen i hear it literally gives me a headache.

Bob Dylan has $500M out of his music and Nick Jonas hasn't. Simply put

Dylan can sing. His voice is rough and ragged but he sings his songs with undiluted passion which most modern singers don’t seem to be able to. His vocals are not processed through filters, auto tunes etc to tidy them up. That is why Dylan’s voice alone moves people. He hits the notes he aims for. So yes, he can sing and with a thousand times more passion than this little boy.

Bob has unique voice and some people think of him as a bad singer but he mastered a unique voice that no one could imitate it perfectly, music is all about what your hearing dylan knew that few people would like his voice because it was not the same like other people, thats why he mastered his lyrics and also his voice to fit into his lyrics so he might not been a great singer, but he was a unique singer
