Der Gesunde Syd Barrett war sehr kreativ. Er hat 52 Songs geschrieben. Als er von Pink Floyd rausgeschmissen wurde, hat er leider nichts daraus gelernt !!! Bei seinen 2 Soloplatten hat er weiterhin Drogen genommen. 1974 ,das. Gitarrenstück Lanky 🎸 eingespielt. Danach nichts mehr gemacht. Die letzte Dokumentation ist langweilig. Sie zeigt nichts neues !!! Keiner weiß so genau wie Syd von 1975 bis 2006 gelebt hat. Mich interessiert wie Syd mit seiner Krankheit gelebt hat ??? Wie ist der Mensch Syd Barrett gewesen ???? Wie lange kämpfte er gegen seine Drogensucht ??? War Syd in einer Psychiatrie ,??? Warum lebte er so isoliert ??? Er malte Bilder und verbrannte sie in seinem Garten. Syd hat von sich selbst gesagt: Ich vegetiere vor mich hin. Das erklärt die Katatonie. Seine Krankheit. Die Familie Barrett erzählt nichts darüber.. Auch nicht seine Schwester Rosmary Breen. Über Peinlichkeiten wird nicht gesprochen. Eine traurige Geschichte.

The healthy Syd Barrett was very creative. He wrote 52 songs. When he was thrown out of Pink Floyd, unfortunately he didn't learn from it!!! He continued to take drugs on his two solo albums. In 1974 he recorded the guitar piece Lanky 🎸. After that he didn't do anything else. The last documentary is boring. It doesn't show anything new!!! Nobody knows exactly how Syd lived from 1975 to 2006. I'm interested in how Syd lived with his illness??? What was Syd Barrett like as a person???? How long did he battle his drug addiction??? Was Syd in a psychiatric hospital??? Why did he live in such isolation??? He painted pictures and burned them in his garden. Syd said of himself: I'm just vegetating. That explains the catatonia. His illness. The Barrett family doesn't say anything about it... Not even his sister Rosmary Breen. Embarrassing moments aren't discussed. A sad story.

I thought you were French when I heard the song, but I've seen that you are American with your other videos. I didn't knew it was THAT popular, I'm glad that foreign people enjoy typical French songs ! Well Jacques Brel is Belgian, but he's an excellent singer and writer but he's still objectively one of the greatest French speaking musical artist we've ever had. I love this song and its melody, do you know other songs from him ? This video is awesome for every Jacques Brel enjoyer lol

Haha thank you. Yes I enjoy Jacques Brel, somehow I stumbled upon his music a few years back and loved his singing, melodies, style and performance skills! I know many of his songs now, it’s also helped me to learn some French. He was a very skilled French speaker, despite being Belgian, he could roll his ‘R’s better than most French people.
