I thought you were French when I heard the song, but I've seen that you are American with your other videos. I didn't knew it was THAT popular, I'm glad that foreign people enjoy typical French songs ! Well Jacques Brel is Belgian, but he's an excellent singer and writer but he's still objectively one of the greatest French speaking musical artist we've ever had. I love this song and its melody, do you know other songs from him ? This video is awesome for every Jacques Brel enjoyer lol

Haha thank you. Yes I enjoy Jacques Brel, somehow I stumbled upon his music a few years back and loved his singing, melodies, style and performance skills! I know many of his songs now, it’s also helped me to learn some French. He was a very skilled French speaker, despite being Belgian, he could roll his ‘R’s better than most French people.
