Cesaer, I have just recently purchased a 2023 McCarty 594 sc. I feel that when bending it is way stiffer than should be. I have taken it for a setup and it still feels stiff to me. Could this be a neck relief issue? I like my action at 4/64 low e and a hair below on high e. My customer 24 is setup and it is effortless to play bends. The McCarty should feel easier to play bc of the shorter scale length, right? Please help, I really want to love this guitar like I love my custom 24 or my les paul.

You're better off going with a beginners kit. They go for about the same price as this cheap, dare I say "instrument" mentioned in this short. And they're much better in quality material, proper set up and sound. They come with the guitar, picks, strings, chord charts and depending on which one you get,you could even get a book on all the basics that teaches you chords as well as a strap and case all for the same price as this crap. Fender or Squire is the brands you're looking for if you want to go cheap. Then down the line upgrade to a Mitchel or Washburn maybe Epiphone, all still really good quality beginner guitars for reasonably cheap. And they're nice looking.

This and the mini Fender come with 9 strings -- impossible. 10s are perfect.

Hi -- I'm very impressed by the sound of this guitar, and I'd like some advice on something. I play in standard tuning, but tuned down to D-flat. Do you think this tuning would sound okay in terms of resonance on this guitar?

Having a digital effect pedal on your board is quite different than using a digital modeler to simulate a real tube amp. 🎸🇺🇸

Cesar what a great video and it answers all my questions. I just received an Alhambra 8 P from guitar center online. It looks and sounds great BUT it was made in February 2021 and it has FRET SPROUTS and HIGH ACTION at 4.5 mm on both sides. This is with the lower bridge it came with. Seems based on your input I should return it. I assume these guitars need to be stored in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. Not sure GC does that and especially since it’s 3 years old.

Cesar, thank you very much for this awesome video. I have played, owned, and own both solid wood acoustics and solid to with laminated back and sides. In fact I have had a lovely Alhambra B4 or 5, and it was like yours, solid top, with laminate sides and back. I also just got an incredible Taylor 50th Anniversary grand pacific 2 series with gorgeous solid top and laminated, or as they call it, layered back and sides, and I totally is my favourite guitar to play and perform with. I would still use my Martin D28 for recording with mic, because it has a very vintage sound for most of my recording jobs. The Taylor is a modern guitar and Taylor have truly found their own voice over the years, very reliable and very good separation of each string, which is important to me personally, because I like to fingerpick, and strum a lot at the same time.. Great video and greetings from Scotland. :)

Hello, thank you for this wonderful video sir. May I ask, are those issues you mentioned can still be frequent in good classical guitar brands like Yamaha? since I only plan to buy through online, I wouldn't be able to look for the possible issues myself

This is so helpful thank you! I am torn between buying a classical & an electro classical guitar. In your experience, do electro classical guitars still retain that traditional classical sound

Have you seen a $36,000 guitar being build with interesting sides of black oak. You can see what I'm talking about at 26:55 at: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z2nWlIqgj62LkKc. This very fine luthier has put a white wood inside the curfing of this guitar. Have you seen sides like this? The wood is from a log that was underwater for 5,000 years. You can see the inside double wood at 26:55 at the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z2nWlIqgj62LkKc This is not laminated. The inside double is 1/4 inch inside the outside black oak.
