I love how confused the dog looks after hearing this weird, colorful creature tell it "no, dont bite!" yet still understood the command!

I do wonder what those few folks down there in the comments were thinking about when they posted about this being cruel. if a bird like this ISN'T happy about something you're doing to it ... let's just say this: it doesn't keep it a secret. you've never in your life heard a less pleasant noise than a tropical bird of paradise like this trying to get your attention; trying to tell you it's not pleased. and also it can fend for itself. and also it's not tied down. and ... look, if you really think this video is showing a bird who DOESN'T want to be in that stream of water ... maybe watch it again. study it a little. note all the details you see for yourself, then think about them a little. I don't know much about macaws of their behavior, but when one is singing in response to every question asked, ruffling its feathers in a relaxed and showy way, spreading its wings calmly ... that's doing almost everything I could think of to indicate an intelligent animal is completely content to be doing what it's doing. if you were giving it treats it loved I doubt it'd display much more than this. these birds are not idiots who lazily hang out in tress all day, squawking at nothing and don't know or care what they're doing. you really kind of have to meet one. I haven't met many, but I have met macaws who are more ingenious and driven than I am. maybe that's obvious. laff. sorry to go on and on, it's just _please think about what you're seeing_ before you comment on it, and DEFINITELY before you charge someone with something like Animal Cruelty. we just gotta think more before we type sometimes. that's all. be well.

This is NOT how you would introduce animals to each other. I would never introduce a dog to a bird in that excited state. It's just asking for trouble. Dog NEEDS to be calm first! Doesn't matter if it's a dog and parrot, dog and cat, two dogs. Even though it's play for the dog, the parrot will see that as a predator, and may decide to bite. And the dog may also decide to fight back, and that wouldn't end well
