We actually don't know, and havn't been able to find much information on it. The peels had a faded light brown color after they had been cooking for a long time, instead of the dark purplish color they had before. You should be able to get blue from black beans, but we havn't tried it yet :) You should put uncooked beans in a pot with water and soak overnight. Then strain out the beans and submerge your clothes in the water for around 1 to 2 days.

@@musicannita8756 Oh yea that's true. We also heard that using a bit of vinegar in the water can help fix the color. And secondly, if you iron the clothes after, it should help seal the color so it doesn't wash out.
