The city is cold and dark. All the life has left it, the time is past midnight, and I grow tired. Before I decided to sleep, I took one last look at two stitched together dolls; one resembeling the Queen of Halloween and lover of the Pumpkin King while the other was an undead bride who found peace with herself after an adventure involving both the living world and the afterlife. As I slept, I dreamt of the town of Halloween and its occupants. A place where, despite the scares and fear, the most odd, yet friendly, creatures resided. I wandered this strange place, feeling like I've come home after a long, long journey and meeting the most peculiar of people. However, when I came upon the forest surrounding the town, I noticed the lack of holiday doors that Jack had seen all those years ago and instead found myself in the cold, dark, land of the living that hid the vibrant and colorful underworld. Just when I turned and saw the figure of an undead woman in a wedding dress, I awoke in a cold sweat. I looked outside to see the snow creeping into the city and people playing outside; life being brought back into the city. The longer I stared out, the more I realized that those two women held some things in common. I left my room to join in the festivities, but not before noticing the dolls were gone and a note was left. "Sleep well, Lost King..."
