Murder Drones - Whispers in the Sky (Synthwave Remix by Leslie Mag)

How's my dear KZbin community? I hope you're doing great, 'cause I feel great about bringing you this new Murder Drones synthwave cover to the channel 💜
I didn't know the song at all, but once I heard it in full, I knew that it would be great if it had a synthwave version, so I made it.
I hope you like the result, 'cause I wanted to keep the chill vibes of the original song. I've decided to make more relaxing covers lately, and this song had that perfect touch to modify it and make it synthwave. Also, It had been a few weeks since my last cover of Murder Drones and I didn't want to leave aside the fans of the series. It's worth mentioning that the original song is very short, so I extended it to 6 minutes with a couple of changes in the instrumental that I hope you enjoy 💜 So without further ado, I present to you my version of "Whispers in the Sky" by Aj Dispirito.

I remember the days leading up to that event. I had just teleported to Copper 9 and saw that after the planet's core had been collapsed and the world became trapped in an eternal winter, humans had been wiped out and replaced with worker drones. The colony was populated by only them, no longer burdened by the will of their masters, and had a future all to themselves. When they saw me in the suit, they thought I was a part of the company that had made them. One conversation with their boss, and a pretty one-sided battle, later, I had told them that I had been transported to this universe through means unknown, with the only thing recalled being a strange symbol I found while researching in a lab. After things had calmed down, they decided to let me live, but on the condition that I kept my distance from the colony. Guess a human running around there would bring back bad memories for some and hostility from others. I agreed to the terms, took whatever gear I had, and camped out in an abandoned tower, waiting for the days for something to take me home. As the week passed, I saw something flying across the sky like a whisper: A drop pod of some type, maybe containing other people as well. I thought that maybe, just maybe, it had humans in it and that, even if they didn't make it, I figure out the controls and use the pod to get me out of here; maybe ride my way back to earth. I saw the crash from afar and, through some found binoculars, I peered at the site. The drones gathered and I grew a smile, hoping there were survivors. Then I saw the yellow X that would change my life on Copper 9 as three drone-like creatures flew up into the sky and began slaughtering the drones without mercy. Before getting away from the window and potentially sharing the same fate, I saw some of them...eating whatever was left of the workers. From that day forward, I knew my days here would be ones of survival and fighting against an unstoppable force. What I didn't realize was that it wasn't them I had to be worried about; it was something else, something that made them and something much, much worse. *This planet is hiding dark secrets and I'm going to find them...*

Not a remix I expected to happen but a welcome one. One of my favourite tracks due to how it set the atmosphere of the show in the pilot, Great work in remixing and keeping that original sense.
