I was wondering, do you keep using the ink from the cartridges , or do you fill them with a different one? I´m happy with the pens, but not the ink, it bleeds and smears more than any I had before. But I´m hesitant to use a different one, since it might clog them, even if I just dip.

@Tropicanine I find them bleeding too. I refill them with ecoline liquid watercolor and have great results.

2:46 Yes, it does work better, because if you do not have a ruler at hand, you always have your thumb. Take 1 thumb-widths by 2 thumb-widths and you are golden.

You will need a flex fountain pen to do styles other than monoline calligraphy. Most fountain pens are not flexible. I have another video about flex pens

What kind of pen/tool are you using? The nib should be flexible. Often fountain pens do not flex and cannot write like this.
