I learned calligraphy with a calligraphy marker . The marker helps it allows for rookie errors so that when you switch to ink you already know the letter formation

I think this is a good idea to build letters with.... or even for those wanting to learn how to use a parallel pen. Use your drawings as a coloring book ....keep pen inside lines and erase pencil when done. Help with keeping pen at a 45 angle. After a week you wont need the pencil anympre.

But what about the lenght, for there is of course a difference between eg the D and J etc. I always supposed the lenght would be 5, 7 or 8 times the width of the two pencils, or am I mistaken? So just like the different nibs of (dip) pen.
