I regularly do the trip to my in-laws in Southern France, a precisely 400 miles trip. I do it since 2019 with my Tesla Model 3 LR. It takes me 7-7.5 hours in summer vacation traffic (it can be worse, but I actively avoid those days), and about 6 hours 40 mn on a day with little traffic. I stop for 15-20 mn at the Valence South supercharger location (no waiting time... ever... in my experience) to add some 45-50 kWh to the battery. The trip costs me about €27 in electricity (including the home charging... it would cost around €40 if 100% of the charging was done at a supercharger), vs... €120 with the petrol car the Tesla replaced. That is the saving each way! Teslas beat all the ICE cars I have ever owned by a country mile!
