Powercreep is in every gacha. I find that long-term enjoyment comes from having your favorite characters and heavily investing them. I think Cherish looks better than Yusuke, so in global, I'd pick him. Thanks for the advice though. 🙏 😊

To me the biggest thing in the next update is the gear set customization where you can get 2 perfect cards that are not big arcana. We can plan now which 2 cards to get and I recommend 2 perfect cards for dps of your liking.

* KR player here.* Wow does he looks amazing! I really really wanted to pull for Messa. but I don't have Morian. Summer.Moko or Chord,m proper characters to support him! Idk if Morgana/Leon is enough substitutes for him . esp since Leon lacks Survivial . . .I regretabbly Skipped those *I did tried to pull for Moko/Chord tho but Not hard enough since I was exclusively trying to save/pull for OG Phantom Thieves. Plus Futaba is coming soon. so now I know I'm gonna regret Messa. . but atleast he comes around later .. But.. . I really wish I didn't skip Morian had I know you cannot get her for free . . .

I would say Futabas weapon would be better to go for, since she will be used on more teams and her weapon bosts multiple allies too

My vote goes to Futaba. Messa's weapon helps out the most when your Messa is high awareness. His weapon boosts laceration damage and gives a ton of penetration, which Messa needs if he's dealing dps damage like Awareness 6. If Messa has low awareness, you are probably relying more on dot damage so you don't need to care about penetration and laceration. Futaba's weapon, on the other hand, is universally good. Her weapons boosts ally's attack when hitting weakness and crit effect when her debuff hits. Most teams hit weakness and most teams want extra attack and crit effect so that's all usable.

They showed some footage of JP at TGS (I think?) and they actually added blood to the awakenings, Wonder’s awakening got reanimated and it looks SO MUCH BETTER

I have a feeling that the shop packs and free giveaways will be different between CN, TW and JP servers. CN and TW are run by Perfect World but JP (and probably Global too) will be run by Sega. So the spending guide may need a little change across the versions. CN and TW may actually be more customer friendly when it comes to prices and free gifts. Well, just a little bit.

Maybe they'll announce global at the Atlus TGS2024 livestream. They might also wait until Re Fantazio's release. Another option is the game awards (TGA) in December.

My guess is 6 more months for global players. When it is 1st anniversary for CN and TW, global will be playable. If that's the case then closed beta test will be in March 2025, for example. Just a wild guess.

Yeah lots of newcomers are probably torn between Messa and Futaba, and you are absolutely right you should pull Messa if you need a dps. Futaba is probably very good too but she's a navigator. You can have the best navigator but if you don't have a nice dps, a navigator won't be helping much imo. This is from a team building angle of course. I know people who must get Futaba no matter what so that's that.

Two Messa teams for part 1. First is the usual dot team. Two advantages with this team. The max damage is higher with curse team and you can save Chord for Summer Closer in part 2, which means you get ideal damage for part 2. Second is Messa dps team. You need Chord for Messa so Summer Closer has to work with someone else. So the score will be lower for part 2 but the biggest advantage is that you don't need to worry about RNG since you are not playing with Sepia's curse which attaches by chance. However just like bejonflameyanji6731 said, Messa needs high awareness, A6 is best, or otherwise you better stick with dot team.

For SOS, unless you have Messa at A6, you want to have Messa stay in Hunter and do S1 first turn, then every turn do S2, and on the last turn become Executioner and do ES2. With Joker, you use Pazuzu and alternate between Burn and single target Curse(Demonic Decree or his base Curse skill) to proc all the curse stacks and add burn damage. You also want to use Riko in Side 1 for the S3 to increase damage bonus. With this you can get at least 350k+ damage in DOT alone, and 400k+ is very doable. I'm able to get 4 Mil on Side 1 with this setup, and my Riko isn't even A6, (Which makes her S3 spam happen every turn after first turn)

@@PhantomOfTheNight Messa can get enough EHR to fulfill his passive as long as he has a EHR Main Card and at least 10% EHR on his substats. As being in Hunter gives him 36% EHR.
