Very f2p but every character just make me want to spend all my gems and tickets...

I am a small spender in this game and I will say the f2p side is not changed. It's pretty f2p friendly. I have seen a CN player showing an account that's f2P with every character (probably not every weapon) plus a A6R6 Violet. So hoarding all gems for one single favorite character is a working strategy. Still this is very lucky to have all characters with f2p but it's possible. Now for heavy spenders though things have changed a bit for the worse. The game adds in a power-up system called mental image and top rank players need to buy more packs to get the best stats for all their characters. I think the game will have more new systems so they can get more money from top players. However that's not something people should worry unless you want to hit the ranks.
