Someone told me years ago to keep pastels in a box of uncooked rice - it works a treat to keep them clean. Thanks for this video.

Yes, just water it helps the paint/ink to flow.

I do, not a good idea really but I wash them thoroughly with hot water and washing up liquid.

Great! The ink is permanent once dried, can add watercolors on top…

You can but it may sit on top of the ink rather than settle into the surface.

Hi Beatriz, I'm using acrylic inks, sepia and black with water and different tools to paint such as a feather and a twig. :)

I’m going to have a go, but I know my biggest issue will not be falling into creating something more representational when I’m trying to do something abstracted. 🤞🤞 Could you tell me please where your palette is from? So glad this popped up. Recently I've been taking photos of old fallen trees that l love, and their root systems. Its amazing how they remain alive for so long, with so few roots underground. I feel some paintings and drawings in the making. Thanks for your mark making inspiration x😊

Hi Bonna, it is simply water to help materials move on the surface, it looks a little blue but I expect that is just the lighting. :)
