Lovely. Thanks for sharing this. Just one question, if I may: why do you use sellotape for the border rather than masking tape? I always thought sellotape damaged watercolour paper.

Hi Marigold, thank you for lovely comments; I use sellotape as it prevents pigment seeping underneath and getting on the border. Masking tape is okay as well, I have found that sellotape is more effective. If you’re using Bockingford paper, sellotape and masking fluid will probably damage the surface! 😊

@@louisebougourdartist6763 Thanks. Will give the sellotape a go, as from your video it seemed to me to give a better idea of what the finished painting with a border will look like than the masking tape I usually use which is obviously a different colour and texture to my paper.
