Your answers to these questions clearly indicate you're trying to prey on the ignorant. Our body is made/designed/evolved to eat meat. Ph of our saliva and stomach acid, lenght of our colon, foregut fermentation, teeth,...we clearly are carnivores. Having fangs for canines yes/no has nothing to do with digestion. Fangs are weapons and don't contribute towards digestion. Like there are many herbivores that have fangs, there are also many carnivores that don't have fangs. The motion of the jaw is only relevant when the jaw is clamped. Unclamped, every animal can move their jaw sideways. It is when we clamp our jaw that we cannot move our jaw sideways. This is because we have interlocking maulers. This allows us to fixate bones in our mouth and rip the flesh from it, like we did when we were scavengers. A cow for example, can still move its jaw sideways when clamped because it has flat maulers, making it much easier to grind down fiber and cellulose.

I grew up vegetarian (not vegan) and it was never about the animals, it was just the way we grew up. I'm an adult now, and I remember about a year or so ago, I saw a video talking about cognitive dissonance, and how people don't like to realize just how much harm animals are put through when they consume animal products. The video briefly showed a clip of what one of these factories looked like and I was horrified. I definitely understand why vegans feel so strongly about the cruelty in the industry, and care so much about keeping animals away from that hell. It is interesting to hear these things from actual vegans, though. Some of these are thoughts I'd have too, even during family discussions we'd have thoughts like 'what if the farm is good?' I think I agree with y'alls responses to the questions posed. Veganism is something I definitely agree with even if I am not an active vegan myself. You two seem lovely and I will absolutely be subscribing!

In that case I would say he wouldn't want to eat it, as either it's dying from a disease, which could infect him as well or it's dying from being old, which probably doesn't make good tasting meat.
