That Version of the Song is still one of the greatest! So many Coverversion out there. The only version of them that translate the BBoy Power is Funky Fam - It´s just begun (2024 Cover) - you find it on spotify etc. I´m dancing since 1984 and still love it.

Breakdancing was started by Puerto Rican kids living in the Bronx in the 70s, educate yourself. Better yet watch the whole documentary this video was taken from, the documentary is called "the freshest kids" it is also here on KZbin. They interviewed those same kids now all adults and some long gone, since this doc is from the early 2000s

This is dope! I always loved the fancy footwork breakers do before they drop to their floor routines, forgot what it's called now, uprocking? Not sure when this footage was filmed but some of the moves look ahead of their time.

This track is what Crazy legs wanted them to Play during that Roxy battle in Movie "Beat Street", but they went w what they Used, they thought it sounded better while breakdancin. Im just glad Producer Harry Belafonte Stuck w what they Used, was Much better.

This truly takes me back 40yrs+ like it was yesterday. In the day they pumped this film in the Media,like it was gonna be a Poppin & Breakdance fest....to only find out when you watched it,theres under 5mins in total (i think,its been a long time😏),but i remember being Disgusted at such 'Treachery'😡, after leaving the Cinema...anyway, it was from that minute scene of Brkdancin,that my path was chosen😁👌 This Vid is Truly the 'Missing Piece🙏' of what was a fkg very dull movie that would of went straight to vid, if not for the Excellent artistic style they produced of that World Famous Short but Brilliant 'Alley scene'. MASSIVE BIIG L❤VE to All the Hip Hop Heads.

As an ex b boy who knew plenty of b girls, this chick is good. Some pretty good acrobatic young asian b girls out there tho. As for the dudes, it's great they kept it fairly traditional without needing to go overboard on the power moves. Half the beauty of b boying is the groove. Otherwise it's merely gymnastics.
