2:00 If you're a motion designer, your focus is on motion graphics, not VFX or simulations. So, if one day a client needs a waterfall or a car explosion, you'd reach out to a VFX specialist who is experienced in that field. They will obviously handle the task better and faster than you. Don't mix things up just because it's CGI. Motion graphics and VFX have a lot in common, but have different uses and accordingly different tools for different purposes

No they did NOT 3D print the Huggers that is the most ridiculous theory ever, and the alien was already a bio-wwapon. The only thing the Company could have printed are the pods they grew inside, and even that's a stretch. They came from a new mutation of the Pathogen even Alverez has mentioned it.

Its cool but AE needs to update their path making ability.. Example I draw a line in default view.. If i to to top view and draw it it should immediately be on 3d.. if it's a 3d shape path.

Just saw this video. I've never used C4D, but switched from Blender to Houdini. The learning curve is steep at first, but after a while using Houdini becomes more and more intuitive the more things click in your mind. By the way, Houdini Indie isn't the free version, it's the Apprentice version that's free.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those so-called 3D printed? What have used actually, the ones from alien covenant? At the end, they were vacuum sealed, ready to go ready to infect people. What have you and whatever has those rods in? It might have been one of those experiments from the black goo. I don't know I just work here

As most people are saying, including people who worked on the Quake 2 Re-release who's comments were deleted - Vertex animation does not mean where each vertex is keyframed separately. The source model still has a rig, the same way vertex meshes from Unreal also did, but the rig is removed and the vertex positions are baked to the mesh file itself before the file is imported into the game. This is why they are normally called 'vertex meshes' or 'vertex animations', because the vertex positions is the only thing which the game itself needs to know.

"To harness the deadliest creatures in the Universe for their own gain..." Well so far this plan is not working out very well for WY: they have lost the Nostromo and a refinery the size of lower Manhattan and its huge mineral ore cargo, a large space station and its highly specialised scientists and its crew in Romulus, an entire colony and an atmospheric processor plant in Aliens and the Sulaco in Alien 3, and the Prometheus and her entire crew along with their founder Peter Weyland. Seems the aliens are actually really bad for business:)

While they stated in the film that the facehuggers perceived prey based on movement and heat, but in a hive, hosts display no movement, and the hive interior is hot and moist. I must conclude that the characters, whom are not scientists, were incorrect, and some other factor impeded the facehuggers.
@Adarkane325xi2 ай бұрын
I never noticed that. Granted i never made it back for a second showing. The theater i saw the film at’s screen was really dark. This is a particularly terrifying revelation, and since the Romulus station was destroyed, it dovetails with the Company having lost the tech again, eager to reacquire it in Aliens.
@deathismycolor2 ай бұрын
The fact that they merely designed and are artificially made ( Don’t Believe It Or Not ) makes them far more everlasting which means the “story” still has problems but at least it makes sense now within the confinement of Alien Romulus and said lore .

Why are so many people mad about this? It's a cool idea and something we've seen in comics and even some games before.

How did they create the black goo?
@dabitcoinbandit35532 ай бұрын
I'm imagining face huggers are equivalent to human fetuses and the black goo is equivalent to stem cells, so since the face hugger is the 2nd step(egg being the 1st) in the xenomorph life cycle, Mass producing them is a easy way to get Black Goo(Stem cells)

I love this video . Alien Romulus showed how Wayland yutani knew the whole time about nostromos where abouts and Ripley. The 3D printing thing goes way beyond horror there is really no words for me to describe this😮. I hope there going to make a sequel there is so much lore for days 😁
