Great video. I suppose if you set it up right it will be parametric right?

u cant make this work with dynamic history and ring sizes though

That’s correct. Until Gemvision make a dynamic version of their Freeform curve. If we had that, it could be dynamic.

Great, very useful information. Do you think AI can replace Jewelry designers?
@EvotechPacific2 ай бұрын
I believe the implementation of AI can be a very handy tool for all levels of design. I believe the benefits of ai tooling will help to ensure that pieces designed can be successfully manufactured reducing the potential for manufacturing failures, improved wear on parts resulting in pieces that may have an improved lifespan.

Hello! Big fan of your content! I have had major issues with manufacturers being unable to print my STLs from MatrixGold. Every time I export a mesh, they end up being around 25-35MB! Way too big! I've tried everything and am at my wit's end. Any tips or advice on how to fix this issue is much appreciated! Thanks again!
@EvotechPacific2 ай бұрын
The first thing I would recommend is to use the break history button prior to using the mesh repair command. Doing this may remove all of the history associated with your file and may result in a smaller file. Also changing the output option in the mesh repair command will adjust the file size. The default is usually 0.03 - the higher this number (eg 0.04 and so on), the smaller the file size. But beware, you may see sharp edges round off with higher output numbers.

Is it possible to change the size of the imported stones at once ?
@EvotechPacific2 ай бұрын
I don’t believe so. I think that whilst the stones from earlier versions can be imported and converted across using the legacy import function, none of them are grouped together.

I was wondering if this method for creating that sharp point on the shank is compatible with putting melee stones on the shank. I have been struggling to get any of the gems/cutters to work with this method

how do you determine the specific gravity of your desired metal you want to use
@EvotechPacific10 ай бұрын
From a quick google search; If the density of a substance is known, to calculate the specific gravity of a substance simply divide the density of the substance by the density of water or air.
