MatrixGold Mesh Repair issue and fix

When Mesh repair works, it's great. But if your polysurfaces have issues in them, Mesh Repair will not work. Here's an issue that one of our clients had, so I demonstrate how I have remedied the issue by rebuilding the offending part.

Hello! Big fan of your content! I have had major issues with manufacturers being unable to print my STLs from MatrixGold. Every time I export a mesh, they end up being around 25-35MB! Way too big! I've tried everything and am at my wit's end. Any tips or advice on how to fix this issue is much appreciated! Thanks again!

The first thing I would recommend is to use the break history button prior to using the mesh repair command. Doing this may remove all of the history associated with your file and may result in a smaller file. Also changing the output option in the mesh repair command will adjust the file size. The default is usually 0.03 - the higher this number (eg 0.04 and so on), the smaller the file size. But beware, you may see sharp edges round off with higher output numbers.
