I actually found a butternut tree seedling in my garden thinking it was black walnut. After watching this video I will nurture it and hopefully it goes tall and strong ty for the information.

I've got a 1993 in a beautiful blue with a black interior. Its got some dents and bad rust damage on the rockers, but the frame and underside is pretty rust free. It runs a little rough at times, but it hasn't let me down. I intend to fix her up and keep her as my daily. Its been in our family Its whole life. Too nostalgic to give up on.

If I remember correctly, the trunk release should be in the glove box but that might just be for the Chrysler New Yorker/Fifth Avenue/Imperial. I got it from watching the owner videos on KZbin.

I believe there's a huge American Chestnut in the back yard at 10 Brewster Street, Plymouth Massachusetts. I last saw it in the 1990's before I movedto another state. I identified it pre internet using library books. If you look on Google maps you can see the top of it behind the house, which has a big round tower and is brown and white.

I have an old barrel table where the person used a lid with a chestnut stamp on it to make the bottom. Any idea what these chestnut barrels looked like? I'm wondering if the body was from the same barrel.

I have two of the biggest butternut trees right in my backyard over 6 feet diameter every year i fill two trash cans full i dont no what to do with them

I have old butternut tree in backyard and look like it start to dying slowly. Before it gone I really want to grow new tree. I got some nuts and want to know how to get the root out. I put in fridge with wet paper towel wrapped around. Don’t know if I’m doing it right.

Why hasn't anyone questioned the disappearance of such a freedom promoting tree.? What blight? Absolute nonsense! The much derided and ridiculed by Hollywood yokels of the Appalachian mountain region WERE MERCILESSLY ROBBED by beauracrats who want everyone to contribute to the thieving economy.Anything else is wind of a foul but familiar smell.smh
