I'm from Chandler and I believe there is something you are not mentioning about our beloved A.J. East Mesa kinda blends into A.J. socially through University past the mobile homes smack up to the mountain. It's not Scottsdale.

Thank you. The brief intro is helpful but overall I find this lacking. You show us touristy stuff, but what about shopping, police, library, community centers, downtown, media, etc. You take us on a drive through a mixed residential area but then advertise the higher-end properties - I know there are mobile home parks that cater to the low to medium income people or do you not deal in that?

If you're going to retire somewhere like Arizona, you better take climate change into account. Lack of water is something you'd be silly to ignore, not to mention the triple digit temps that Arizona is facing.

Mesa good great in November though March it not so bad to much money for cooling your people are nice you find you want get a lot of friends but great to be do things on your own with good friends you go Mesa for food

I lived in Tempe from my birth in 1968 until 1993. I have to tell you, the whole texture and atmosphere of Tempe has been substantially ruined by spiraling real-estate speculation. These sorts of exorbitant housing prices indicate a deep and systemic gross and unsustainable economy, and defacto multi-generational tax on younger generations. Who benefits? the banks who feed slovenly on the inflated mortgage interest; the realtors who get bigger commissions; house-flippers who beat-out first time buyers with all cash offers; Wall Street Investment funds who treat houses not so much as human dwellings as casino poker chips; fortunate baby-boomers who happened to be able to buy homes decades ago when home prices were much more in step with average people’s wages. If you are a younger person, or anyone else of median income or lower hoping to afford a simple dwelling in which to live, you’re most likely going to be an economic sacrificial lamb, a mortgage slave until the day you expire. It’s an ugly Judas economy. It cannot endure. The bubble will again collapse, perhaps sooner than we might expect. Best of luck to all honest and decent folks, simply trying to afford a modest home for themselves or their families. We MUST fix this….
