And yet CSX still hasn’t fixed the blown out WCH 2nd Gen LED on the Owassa Road crossing, you’ll never believe this, it’s had a blown out light for more than a year now.

Nice to see the Safetran mechanical bell is still ringing, I caught a train in Owassa earlier today and one of the cantilevers at that crossing had a light blown out.

Nice one, I caught a CSX local train earlier this morning and it had a GP38-2 leading, although it had a sick horn and the Owassa Road crossing still had a light blown out.

Fun fact about Canadian National’s AC44C6Ms: some of them actually are ex GECX units that were once BNSF Dash 9s, including the 2 CN AC44C6Ms I caught a month ago, 3405 is ex GECX/BNSF 4592 and 3371 is ex GECX/BNSF 4511.

That high pitched WCH mechanical bell is still dying, if the bell sequence was set to ring through whole activation, the dying WCH mechanical bell most likely would’ve been dead by now.

Nice review man! I noticed that the Amtrak logo on the front is a bit incorrect as for the real life prototype the Amtrak logo is supposed to be on the top left by the left marker light. Even if it’s Walthers Mainline I’m not that picky about the details and paint. Still an awesome model! Hopefully I get BNSF soon

From what I know, 500 is the first Amtrak Dash 8, the 2nd and 3rd ones, 501 and 502, were sold to Amtrak California and renumbered as 2051 and 2052.

Great video! Honestly, if you know you're camera's gonna have issues with the autofocus at a certain crossing, it might not be a bad idea to set the focus manually there.

Thanks. I tried manual focus at that crossing from a test video. It was blurry the entire time. It's why I never bothered with manual focus as it always go blurry for no reason. It's also a reason why I alternate back to my Samsung camera on occasion as the autofocus isn't as terrible on it.
