I have a won't start when HOT problem in a 2009 Ambulance E350. Replaced the injectors and high pressure oil lines (its a common cause) so it will now restart after cooling down a few hours after it shuts down typically when I hit a bump but the wont start still exists. So i have both IPR and ICP parts, but have you an idea about the wont start back up when HOT and possibly why it shuts off or "reboots" when driving and going over bumps?

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzbin.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

Unless I missed it, what is different from the ball you're using now and the ball you threw away? Also, on your bed cover, has there been any problem with the inside rail cover and clearance with the hitch , or would you rather have top rail?
@driveman6490
@driveman6490 10 ай бұрын
Actually there is no ball. The companion base slides into the slot where the turnover ball is/was located. A lever in the driver's side rear wheel well retracts the lock pin, the companion base is inserted, then the lever is moved to extend the locking pin. You then tighten (to 60lbs) the adjustment bolt to draw the unit down securely to the bed. Hope that helps!

Variable Turbo that has these veins in it is called a variable if the Cummins is equipped with a variable turbocharger use that you can do the same thing and doing turbo rebuild for years my knowledge is there is a few GM had a couple of Duramaxes got a couple and of course Ford

I cannot pick up the hitch and move it out of the way to get my gooseneck ball in place. I can pick up and remove the head but the rest of the hitch is simply too heavy. I realize I could call some friends but I need to be able to convert back and forth between the gooseneck and 5th wheel all over the country. Any suggestions?

Just found this video. I’m hoping this fixes the issue on my ‘05. It showed low oil pressure and quit. Crank no start now. It seems to be building low oil pressure as it’s filling the oil filter canister. I changed the drain back valve because the oil was draining with the plunger closed. Fixed that but still no start.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT Touch the impeller with the disk or even a wire wheel. It is balanced to run 20,000 RPM or so. Even a touch will throw it off balance. I hate to say it, but he will be replacing it soon. Otherwise it was a great video.

@@richardgray8939 Scotch-Brite in your hand would cause no damage but Scotch-Brite on a disc @ 3000 RPMs will definitely cause damage. I'm sure, by now, you know whether or not you got away with a few taps. Just wanted to caution others. So you know where I'm coming from, I started my mechanic career in '81, so you do have a few years on me.

@@scomi possibly but at even though Scotch-Brite disc at 3000 RPM on hardened metal usually doesn't Scuff the surface now if you were to put Scotch-Brite to a Babbitt bearing and you going to have serious issues

@@richardgray8939 Alright Richard, as I said. I just wanted to caution others whose takeaway might have been, that they couldn't cause damage, that they should be careful. I've seen gasket surfaces have to be filed back flat after being cleaned up with a Scotch-Brite disc, even a head that had to have a few thousandths taken off to get it flat again. Good luck to ya, I'm done.
