I was at a patient scheduler job for 3 months. Within those 3 months, three people quit including my boss, I was told I was hired out of desperation and I was verbally abused by a coworker. That same coworker leaves every day at 2:30 because she was part time, it was only me after that because the two other people quit, I was getting home at 6 pm or 7 every day, my neck was starting to get tense with stress, same thing was happening with my boss and she was a practice nurse. Once she left, they brought in some hospital administrator who was using different software technologies to hopefully fix the over whelming amount of patients we have but that only made it worse for the employees. I left two weeks ago. I will take my experience and look elsewhere. Already had a call from a hospital to be a scheduler, but I feel I would be put right back into the fire 🔥. Thank you for this video. Don’t give up people!

jobs are not easy and you have got to learn that there is always going to be bad and good things in any job. At the end of the day you are paid for it and have to grow thick skin. I have had bad and good experiences with work but you shouldn't care what people think of you. I know what it's like and my managers are unlikable monsters. But my mind set is it's there problem not yours. Stay strong and remember people are morons.

Some jobs, are downright demeaning. To be placed under a microscope and having someone mentally on your back - that's literally harassment. So yes it's toxic! Not all corporate jobs even in this field are like this. And yes, when they don't want you there--they will just let you go--NO 2 week notice. They will even dismiss you via a Zoom call. Unfortunately, when you are not employed, recruiters will mess with you and make you feel like you are not "employable". I agree, your mental health is a priority.

Same exact situation and thought process. For me, I prayed and prayed and God was silent because He had already given me the answer: power to walk away. Fast and pray to Him, He will respond. I also applied for a new bachelor's....Call Centers are the dead end that drive people there.

I was waiting for you to say, " my family, friends, roomate or BOYFRIEND will support me". Tons of working women are realizing their not cut out for the feminist, Shehulk, single life. Stop wasting time at work. Focus on being attractive, feminine, friendly and submissive...a man will save you. *respectfully*

I am planning on quitting my job in mid April. I dread giving 2 week notice because i know everyone will be asking questions where i am going and why i am quitting. I am very private person and never talk about myself to anybody at work. What should i do? Should i still give 2 week notice even if it makes me very uncomfortable.??

It's very unnatural to have to talk to people into a service they don't want. The way corporations are set up is toxic for everyone involved except the ceo.

I appreciate your story. My question is, and I understand that this is easy to say in hindsight, why didn't you start to look for another job when you started to see significant changes? When I started to see the possibility of new administration at my job, my first instinct was to start looking. It is always easier to find a new job when you already have a job.

I'm so glad people are finally not giving a 2 weeks notice. The employers don't give employees that courtesy and never have . they don't deserve our respect. Everything you said at the beginning about your mental health is exactly me. I don not get a moment of rest with the pressure of my job and I dread every moment of every day. Even when I'm off, I can't enjoy myself because of the impending doom.

Best to get laid off then at least you can collect unemployment. I get it work sucks and you feel liberated when you quit only problem is you will have to work eventually and the cycle will start over . Hope upcoming recession doesn’t effect you finding new job

I agree when work drains you mentally, physically and emotionally you should quit which is most jobs. But if your not good with people or have a good subconscious feeling around strangers then you won't do good trying to make money outside of a 9 to 5. Sure you can sell a product online without showing your face but for many of us, I believe AI is shadow banning traffic so that people will not see your product so they can't buy your product or simply people don't like what your selling because you are very unique and don't share much in common with a big majority of people. So if you can't work a 9 to 5 or sell, then you're pretty much screwed unless maybe you learn how to get business funding and grants to start a physical business like a restaurant and learn to manage it real well but most people would rather work a 9 to 5 instead of being an owner of a business. Or you can follow your passions but if art or music or writing is your passion then your screwed again especially in this age where AI is trying real hard to put artists out of business and won't replace the shitty jobs like maintaining the sewer system. That's even on purpose trying to get people to quit art to take up shitty jobs. Not only that but artists are a dime a dozen and 90percent of people that work on art music or writing, all think they are great when only 10 percent are actually true artists that never give up and always try to learn more about their craft. If all fails only God can help you. Like me I'm stuck without a job because my last boss was an asshole Muslim possessed by demons telling me to do more work and try to finish in half the time when I never pause at work and always try to cut corners to finish faster which is physically impossible to finish in half the time so I told him off before I quit and told him Jesus Christ is Lord you fucking bitch! But I'm stuck applying everywhere and only a few interviews with no luck so maybe God is trying to lead me to some other kind of business but I'm still trying to figure that out other than that im trying real hard to learn java programming which for an artist is mentally draining boring work but if I can just get over the threshold of becoming good at programming, I can make video games which should be fun. My only real hope is that God will take care of me as I am lucky to fall back on SSI due to mental conditions I've had a record of ending up in psychwards for manic bipolar scizoaffective and paranoia. And if I go homeless well never experienced that before and my uncle was homeless 2 times before making a business that literally made him like 100k a year but now is homeless again because his wife and kids left him and moved very far away. Life has its ups and downs but one must never lose sight of hope and that is God

Most of us are definitely where you were and seeing you take that leap of faith and quit your job for your mental health is going to inspire others to focus on there mental health and stop allowing jobs to take them to unhealthy places mentally. wish the best for you on your next chapter in life.

I hate call centre environments, colleagues were toxic, management was rude, turnover was high with people quitting. Not my cup of tea to constantly take calls. Corporations and governments work with each other and they don't care if people are physically or mentally drained or go insane. People have to remember, you are replaceable, do not give your soul to a company no matter how tough or intimidating they try to be.

Thank you for sharing your story. I had a similar experience late 2021 and had vlogged briefly about it on my channel. Sometimes I ask myself if I ever regretted quitting back then. I can honestly say that I don't, even when facing a long unemployment. I did do a few contract jobs after that but at least the depression from unemployment was less intense than the one I was in back then. I felt trapped, could not do anything to make things better for myself because I was the only logical person who could do most of the work. I had breakdowns in the office, tears for all to see. And I felt anger a lot which affected my family. I was never a quitter even though I cried many times that I would. It was when I started feeling chest palpitations and had trouble sleeping that I knew I had to quit before I really had serious health issues. I wish you all the best in finding your next job. After quitting, I was unemployed for 6 months, worked contract jobs for a total of 8 months and then unemployed again. Although it was a short stint, my mental health was better and I was paid higher. Now I'm in search for the next job.
